Resistance2
Resistance2 is doing a lot more to improve on the sequel. Improved graphics, more weapons, 8 player co-op, 2 story modes, innovative online squad play w/ 60 players, a brand new XP system.
Gears 2 is innovating but not as much. Upgraded Unreal engine w/ better effects, more detailed backgrounds, more enemies on screen, 5 on 5 online play, a few new weapons and moves, possibly 4 player co-op.
Resistance is pretty much going to fill the 5...

SSMB, Mario Kart, Metroid, Zelda etc. - these games have all been done before on previous consoles where they were more fresh.
It reeks of a dev. that had no idea how to program for the PS3.
Still, I thought free radical would have done a better job.
I would say that 3/4 of the time a game is delayed it has to do w/ maximizing the potential sales. This actually makes me happy, because we know for sure Killzone is going to be finished and coming out in Feb. If it was delayed due to technical problems then we would be waiting longer and the release date wouldn't be as trustworthy.
Not to mention R2 looks like it will have a more comprehensive multiplayer so it is better suited to go up against a title like gears, whose stren...
Im a PS3 fanboy who also happens to own a 360(although I play it rarely) and I gotta say you should have seen this coming. The game looked terrible from the get go. Then the demo came out and that sealed the deal.
Both systems have their bad titles, for every Lair there is a Perfect Dark Zero or Lost Odyssey. Not the end of the world.
At least Haze came out, it didnt pull a Splinter Cell on us...

Ubisoft hasn't delivered on a Splinter Cell game for awhile now. They come out w/ a new one every year but there isn't much about that sets it apart.
For every 5 ubisoft games that come out there is only about one that is worth playing(Haze is garbage, now this game, I can't imagine whats next).
Its just too bad because there was a time when Ubisoft was an awesome company.
If mediocre shooters are your thing than I suggest you pick it up. I could care less about all the features, if the gameplay sucks everything else suffers.
I don't think I would even rent this game. After playing the demo you can pretty much tell where this game is going. No way would I waste
60$ on this run of the mill shooter.

Ubisoft started out as a strong dev. but in the past few years their titles have been awful.
They come out w/ too many mediocre sequels and formula games. Now when I see a Ubisoft title on a game I cringe (HAZE)
LBP is clean. The whole idea behind little big planet is using real world objects like a box of crayons or a pinwheel to advance your characters threw the level.
It might be 2-D but because its based on using real world objects the games has a look of realism and depth.
Banjo on the other hand looks like GUMBY the video game. I get that the objects are supposed to look blocky, but there are still alot of rough egdes that don't belong.

LBP looks like it will have more playability value among adults. With LBP your imagination is you're only limit. A game built around creating your own levels seems pretty interesting to me.

Fact is, Xbox360 is the preffered choice of lazy developers. You have to think outside the "box" to program for the PS3.
Countless dev. have come out to say that the PS3 still has tons of potential left. Even more have come out and said 360 is already reaching its limits.
