Didn't someone at Sony already say the PS4 might not even have a drive? It's not gaming media MS was talking about, but all media, especially movies. Remember, they were making the Digital Download statements when they were freshly butt hurt from HD DVD losing.
No, I don't think you get where you are going with this since you said you can think of more than five games that aren't games.
Now if you said video games you'd be ok. ;)
I play at home on my bed. No room to stand with my plasma or projector screen sitting but a few feet in front of my bed. Motion controls don't work there. I just want a controller.
I know it doesn't require me to stand etc., but I also lay down. Yes, I am a lazy gamer.
Eh? I've turned it off on my machines.
Dude, this isn't nothing, it's 3,420,160 Bytes man!
Actually 1024 unless your a Hard Drive company.
Things break. Make 12 million of anything, they're going to break. Hundreds do not an epidemic, make!
When there are 3 million 80010514 errors, call me!
Not all receivers that accept HDMI will accept LPCM (which DTS-HD MA will be decoded to) over HDMI.
Two cheapest off the top of my head is the Panasonic XR-57 if you can find it, and the Onkyo's 604/605.
"Can you even buy 7.1 speakers?"
If you're worried about DTS-HD MA, and you have an appropriate receiver that will receive LPCM through HDMI, you won't be buying any X.1 speakers, you'll be putting it together yourself normally. So two fronts, a center, and two sets of surrounds (which can be surrounds or match your fronts etc.)
I might go the cheapy route and just get a graphite gray at colorware. I know it's not metal, but my PS3 is out of warranty already so eff it, I've already thought about it.
What difference does it make what the case material is made out of? Unless you are arguing the plastic case itself is a good heatsink than the case material has nothing to do with the heat retention. If anything, metal would be better than the plastic. Remember when aluminum cases first became popular (a long ass time ago, Lian Li Coolermaster were the only two companies making them) they argued the metal case helped dissipate heat better. This was shown to be false, because the case did n...
Yeah I guess someone forgot about "rollback" and that freaking yellow happy face or whatever it is.
I try not to go into WalMart, at least limit it as much as I can. Not that I care if they are evil or not (I could care less, if it saves me money, I worry about ME!). It's just that, whatever is the worst people in your city, you can find a bunch of them at your local Wal Mart usually.
Back-Backwards Compability maybe, since everyone above is making fun of dude who said just backwards compability.
Seriously, what's up with the title and the article. Was there a similar no Divx on Wii article? No BBC player oh noes, the horror, the humanity, how shall UK PS3 owners cope?
You guys need to step back and think for a second. First, a BD player is not an essentialy item. Therefore, if prices were kept artificially high, people would just stop buying it.
Second, yes consumers are largely willing to pay these higher prices. Retailers owe no allegiance to BD or Blu-Ray or manufacturers. If no consumers were buying the BD, they would lower the price to move the product. They haven't. Therefore, it is reasonable to deduce that yes, consumers are wil...
You take that back! I loved The Rock. Well Cage not so much, but Sean Connery was kickin ass in that movie.
That said, Michael Bay's movies continue to make money. Shareholders of his studios think those movies are wonderful.
and yet some say the 3 year warranty alleviates any fears of failure, until you hear about troubles getting it fixed!
"Not that that really matters, since in five years we’ll have a new format."
Ok. DVD released in 1997/1998, Blu-Ray released in 2006. 8 years or so. 5 years from now or so, 2013, that's 7 years. Oh noes Blu-Ray is obsolete!
Dumb comments like that are annoying.
"No mention of it being the ultimate version for any GTA4 fan."
He didn't get that part right. Having the opportunity to pay more to get more doesn't make it the ultimate version for any GTA4 fan, just those that want more. THose that don't want more, might say the DLC is for suckers.
Regarding the original question of the blog, what do you want the advertiser to say?
"Buy the 360 version. It's the Ultimate Version!*
Ultima...
Confucius once say, "He who reads and Believes Tom's Hardware ... IS A FOOL!"
My GF has a Wii and told me I can take it home (nobody is currently playing it). I just might to give this game another try. Yes I said another, I rented it not too long ago for the PS2, but the beginning was so freaking long before you start playing that I just turned it off and returned it to Gamefly. I had other games that were can't wait titles so I didn't have the patience.
Is the game worth another shot? Does it still take like 20 minutes before the game starts?
