"I fits seeing that it takes more than a year to make a game usually "

Not EA games :D

Funny PS3 15% of revenue? Orange Box perhaps?

Conan997, it doesn't send Dolby TrueHD or DTS Master Audio. It decodes the track into an LPCM (think uncompressed) signal and sends that over HDMI. So instead of sending the bitsream over HDMI and having the receiver decode it, the PS3 just decodes it and then sends it over to the receiver.

Some non-ps3 liking individuals don't like this, becuase their little logo doesn't turn on, on the receiver. I'm serious, go over to avsforum you'll see it.

Also, if your B...

I'm not exactly getting your comment. Are you saying Intel's processors are overpriced and underperforming? Or are you saying that's what nvidia called them?

We're not in netburst anymore, and Intel's cpus right now are neither.

I've been building PCs for over a decade, for fun (friends and fam). but on the low end, dells cannot be beat. Get a complete system with monitor etc. for basic computing needs. Of course I ask if they're going to game at all.

But the XPS models (desktop) can easily be beat if planned correctly.

Damn, blind to go along with his hand which is about to fall off ... ;)

I have a 100" projection screen in my bedroom which I used for blu-ray and gaming. But when I played FPS I'd get motion sick. COD4 was the last draw, I loved the game but couldn't play it. Went out and grabbed a 50" plasma (lcd doesn't cut it for me) and put it below the screen. Now I got the best of both worlds.

The trailer for this game did make me slightly dizzy though, and I...

High demand battles with economies of scale for price dropping. So if demand is so high they can't produce enough, price breaks are hard to come by.

This is my first GTA (first console since SNES), and there is a bit of driving, sometimes it is tedious but what you gonna do? gotta do the drive. The driving part of GTA isn't the fun part, it's the Grand Theft part and other mayhem.

Hey just like I discovered the first time I ate there, if you can have a Souplantation that featured Salad and not Soup, why not Grand Theft Auto without too much auto? ;)

I am hooked on the game now though, once I stopped being s...

Sure nothing has changed. Just you know, an onboard MMC and their version of Hypertransport. Yeah AMD has been doing this, but Intel's been wiping the floor without them, and now they are implementing it.

I think you mean overstatement. I hope you meant overstatement.

Wow, we got ourselves the AMD Defense Force in here.

Why not just rehire their Netscape killers?

They are also looking for Sony and Nintendo killers too. No word yet if any are working on the MS waggle controller.

People disagree with you because you said it in a fanboy manner, but plasma really is better I have learned.

I was an LCD whore and preached LCD to all my friends. Then I caught the plasma bug and now I won't turn back. Better blacks, good colors, no motion blur (how can any real gamer declare LCD better with it's motion blur?).

Image retention is there but not a problem anymore really. No permanent burn-in. Picture quality is better on plasma, flat out. LCD...

It's fine for an employee to defend their product ... when they're not delusional!

Baghdad Bob was defending his country when he said there were no troops in Baghdad.

It took AMD forever to come out with the tri-core after announcing it. I wouldn't evn want to know when this would come out.

It does, but I got dizzy just watching the trailer! Maybe I'll get used to it. Maybe I'm just getting old.
