You can't legitimately gain or lose one pound a day. Not in body muscle or fat. most likely the perceived weight loss is due to variations of your body's retention of water. 1-2 lbs per week due to good diet and strong workout regimen is healthy (generalizing of course, everybody's different).
Best time to weigh yourself is in the morning after you pee. Even if you have to take a crap that changes things.
I rent all my games. Gamefly is the best! I have it, but haven't popped it in yet.

And for you to lose a couple pounds in a week meant you either expended 7,000 calories due to Wii Fit, changed your diet.
Remember, one pound of weight is equal to 3,500 calories.
