It's funny to see people still trying to sell 60GB PS3s for $400 on craigslist.

+ ~$50 for used PS2

Not to mention that a 2yr old console, especially a first-gen console, is much more prone to failure. Look at first-gen 360s and 60GB PS3s. You're much more likely to RRoD/YLOD.
This is why the Slim will do so much better in the long run. Less power, less heat, less components, less chance...

I only buy a game used if it's been out for quite awhile and is either not available new, or is just scarcely available. I try to buy new as much as possible. Granted, I also use Gamefly and some games I will rent and then keep if I like them. I'm not sure how much Gamefly pays devs, if they're as much of a vampire as Gamestop is.
This is definitely going to be an interesting one. Still not sure if I'll pick it up right away, definitely want to wait for the reviews.

You can always download it from the EU store. IMO the WET demo was meh though. It wasn't nearly as good as I had hoped. I'm sure the game will be entertaining and worth a rental, but it just isn't a day one buy for me.
Oh, that sucks dude. I feel your pain, I lost months worth of game saves because of a YLOD. I've been religiously backing up my PS3 every week since then.
Way to go with your English comprehension skills. The title is "PSN Gets its First 3D Game Tomorrow" not "PS3 Gets the First Ever 3D Game On Any Console Ever Ever Ever Tomorrow, So Neaner Neaner Xbox 360". And yes, it's the first PSN game, not the first PS3 game.
3D gaming is overrated, IMO. Until the tech advances further and until it is widely available without lame glasses it is as much of a toy as *cough* Natal *cough*.
It may not look as good as it could have, but the gameplay more than makes up for it IMO.
