Read the Eurogamer article, all your questions will be answered.
Anything that is backward-compatible on Xbox One according to the Eurogamer write-up.
Yup, if I get a Scorpio, I'll definitely be going through some of my backlog. I still have Red Dead's Undead Nightmare to get to! :)
Let's not get ahead of ourselves. The hardware sounds amazing, I even want to run through my backlog on this console but new Scorpio games are the real sell.
Time to hit up @Sega on Twitter!

Good games focus the message
Console only a husk

It's crazy to me you have so many disagrees. You're absolutely right. I hope MS can put a good range of titles together to make Scorpio a success. Tomorrow should be a fun reveal.
I've gotten disagrees over the same viewpoint. I'll never understand blind fanboy-ism. Root for all three companies, they all have pros and cons.
Unrelated to Nintendo, many gamers are starting to lose faith in Microsoft. The comments on this site and others show people are frustrated with the Xbox brand right now.
Nice. I've always wanted to play this... wish it was $10 cheaper though.
It would be great if Nintendo kicked off the new virtual console along with an announcement of a "new old game".
Do something unexpected like release Super Mario Bros. 4 for NES VC or at the very least Star Fox 2 which already was developed.
@Tekolie
Well then, I guess it's a good thing I didn't say it was.
Dude that's the definition of second party ;)
I'm aware of the philosophy. I suppose my argument is though this practice exists, I haven't seen anything to suggest Nintendo is using it on the Switch.
Their financial well being depends on being able to grow the user base quickly and without having to continue to spend on marketing.
Switch commercials are in full effect promoting Zelda, Arms and Mario Kart. It's not cheap. They need a user base to convince third parties to support and if it...
Nintendo is not creating artificial shortages. This gets paraded around way too often even though it makes no business sense whatsoever.
I'm quite certain they would have loved to ride the hot hand and sell double or triple the units. They don't make money by being out of stock, it's a manufacturing constraint just like PSVR and every other in demand item.
To put this in context, it looks like two people have reported this on what roughly 2m sold? A potential problem for sure but a manufacturing defect-free rate of 99.99966% is six sigma. This isn't a thing yet.
I'm curious to see what new IPs that Nintendo can bring. Splatoon was really fun and I'd like to see them continue to explore new territory.
Kind of old news. The author missed Konami's official response last month which stated:
"It symbolised Returns and Reborn because this game is such a homage to SNES and SB3. But it also means Rangers, to represent the diverse and colorful group of Bomberman characters who patrol the galaxy."
To be fair that is the job of a hype man. It's all about the spin.
I think this got remastered recently.
