Agree is to also say this is my #1 most wanted game too. Disagree is to say it's not my most wanted game.

Neither are really about questioning the OP's personal opinion.

Not a bad list, I'll add a couple more...

Battletoads
Fear Effect

"So it’s a little weird that Microsoft has decided to remind the entire world of how good Rare were under Nintendo."

No. They acquired the company! That was the obvious flashing neon sign and certainly not anything that we needed a compilation release to tell us.

That being said, I'm looking forward to Rare Replay!

I love my 3DS but Nintendo definitely needs to step up the screen resolution in its next handheld to at least match the now ages old iPhone 4.

If Nintendo makes the NX a new bulky cartridge console, consider me a day one purchase.

I agree with the author... the low-res 3DS screen could detract from the art style of this game particularly compared to the Gamecube version.

@Zero109

Foolish is a bit of a stretch... so let's agree to disagree. I think we could go bout for bout for a long time and still have different takes.

Agree with both SoapShoes and Oner. Taking the OP's post at face value, it's a fallacy. I'm indifferent about these two games but it applies to all. A great game will be great or not regardless of the hardware targeted.

For the examples named we likely would have gotten the same exact games but with a higher resolution, higher or more consistent FPS and improved textures. None of which really change the core of a game so if you liked them or not, the platform woul...

Prettier graphics don't improve gameplay or storylines.

Looks cool, nice that they got a licensing deal to make this. However, asking for a $40,000 goal with 8 people working on the game full-time gives me pause.

I'm indifferent about some of these... Doctor Who and James Bond are cool though. Personally, I'd like to see Firefly and Futurama.

Relying on the mod community to fix something that is still actively supported is silly.

How about notify developer, through official channels, with examples and screenshots if possible. Describe when you first noticed the problem and even reference threads where other users are stating the same.

Trust me, as s non-game developer this goes along way...

Sounds more like a new Saint's Row game!

No. This is trying to make something in hindsight more than what it actually was.

Lame selection on Limbo... Sure, as noted by the author the PS4 version just came out but it's been known what this game is for years.

The reasoning of puzzles being too hard just doesn't ring true. I don't recall having issues with timing them and losing repeatedly.

@kalebninja

Suggesting that Sony has put money into Kickstarter to keep up appearances is ridiculous.

Yeah man, Sony's putting out there employees with like stipends and they're all "shhh, go secretly fund Shenmue 3". Damn, you caught them!

I see your Streets of Rage and raise you a Skies of Arcadia sequel.

@neonridr

I'm not willing to play conspiracy on funding.

I will say that Shenmue costs have been contended before--neither one of us have the facts. That $70m has been disputed with reports as low as $47m, including marketing and including costs for Shenmue 2.

My point is that it's entirely believable that a team of 8-10 is building this game. Sony admittedly is taking care of PS4 port costs so there might be additional headcount rela...

I'm surprised to see you say this given the rise of indie, small budget teams.

Consider that $5.6m might become $4.5m after fees and rewards. This leaves plenty of money to provide a competitive salary, license software, pay actors, etc.
