You know what’s crazy to me? People on PlayStation are raising hell about the PS5 Pro and not having a disc drive being ONE of the reasons they don’t want it. They want to own their physical games.
Meanwhile on Xbox, the series S is the best selling “next gen” Xbox, has no disc drive, and nobody even mentions it being all digital. Fully adopted to the “not owning anything” mentality. Crazy how different a consoles community can be with their pain points.
After seeing inzoi I’d delay with some experimental “expansions” like multiplayer too.
Your doubt is a YOU thing. As far as the topic goes, choosing between performance and quality sucks. Being able to have an all in mode is awesome. Not having to choose a compromise. It’s part of the “premium” experience and I’ll be there for it.
Day one for me. I think people are being unrealistic and these journalist aren’t putting any thought into it. PS5 is $500. Period. If they did a PS4 pro was a $50-$100 people would say it isn’t a big enough difference. Who asked for this? You’re fine just a regular PS5. They went balls out for a $200 increase. Game looks like it would have been a blast years ago. It’s like a mix of games that have already been done, and each did their part better. Today it just looks boring as hell. The amount of enemies in the fight at once looks good, but once he got stun locked in the fight with the imps I was like yep… that’s ALWAYS annoying as hell.

PS5 has been more or less right on target for me. Not a whole lot of breakout new series bangers, but very good games, support, and as a fighting game lover they have me more than covered. Only place with more options is PC, but them there is uncharted waters land lubbers. Ye can find gold or ye may stumble across what appears to be a bullion and it’s something so vile and repulsive that you wish there were some way to moderate the denizens that live there.

The character creator is very good, With the ability to edit some clothing in a variety of ways it will stay fresh. Not to mention a day one ability to download others characters and creations. It does show what creation packs the creator used to make their character which makes it clear dlc will be heavy.
