I mean… the game is awesome, but it’s also old as hell. Going on like year 7? Them saying they are focusing on the next VR project is enough for me. Beat Saber is me and my wife’s most played game in a LONG time. Played on PSVR release day for PS4 and still play today on PSVR2. I don’t buy any of the new music anyway as the free packs are really good. We got imagine dragons and panic at the disco. Other than that we were set. Looking forward to what they do next. Maybe one day I’ll get a VR f...
Well a part of running a business is a tight grip on that P&L sheet. In project management. It’s a known fact that the farther into a project you go, the more costly the corrections. Having something reach the definition of done, the end of the road, and it’s hated is a monumental loss of money. As games are usually made iteratively it’s like how was this not caught and course corrected several times before this point. Sony is definitely known as trusting and allows teams to make the game...
@Chevalier
Mind you that’s only AFTER buying all those other companies adding them to the revenue. It was a LOT lower. This is Activision, Bethesda, and others COMBINED to get that number.
“The sales of windows professional on the other hand trounces god of war sales” 😂
@Jin_Sakai
And Nintendo laughs all the way to the bank. It isn’t gimmicks, it’s innovation. The sales tells everyone, love it or hate it, people like those Nintendo think outside the box advancements.
@Snookies12
Let’s see. You call BS on my comment when I simply said;
1) Nintendo is on a power chase instead of an innovation chase. I also said it’s more of an upgrade like a Switch Pro. Then you write exhibit A—- “I hardly ever played my Switch 1 aside from local multiplayer with friends. It was so lacking in hardware power. I never once felt the urge to touch games I could simply play on far superior hardware.
The Switch 2 has entirely remedied that fee...
People miss the point. Ex Nintendo Reggie said it best. This is not the Nintendo he left. Nintendo has been coming with something original and abandoned the power race with the game cube. From the virtual boy to the Wii every console was different. Brought something new to the table and innovated. This is the first time Nintendo simply did a power upgrade, which is why everyone is confused and trying to justify it VS other systems. (Which it is NOT ready for) Innovation took a back seat. Hell...
Meaning they did a good job on this PS version. With doom, reports show the PS Pro performing worse than the series S in some instances. Doom team was on obvious BS. This team actually has PS5 and series X basically locked and PS Pro as the best place to play. Stuff that simply makes sense.
Want to see embarrassing? look at Maximillian Dood try to play a halfway decent game of soul calibur 2 online. Absolutely comical. Nintendo HAS to start being held accountable.
I’m glad not every team under Microsoft’s banner is on some clear bs like the Doom team is.
@ Gunstar75
lol are you serious right now? If Sony has shrinking market share whos eating it? Definitely isn’t Microsoft when the series X/s are selling worse than the Xbox one. The switch is WIDELY known as a companion console. It’s what you get WITH your Xbox or PS or even PC. Some games simply sell best on PC, but that’s a minority. As someone that plays on everything, please explain who Sony ids losing market share to? If anything they want to recoup from these live ser...
These comparisons are so ridiculous. The switch 2 is NOT equal to a PS4 pro nor does it rival it. Period. This is all to justify the purchase and absurd asking price for the age of the tech. Want it to show its power? Show it’s 60fps mode. I’ll wait. Let’s see it for Cyberpunk and for this. Crazy pop up in this video on the switch version whenever a room is entered on the first 30fps run through. Especially when you go from inside to the outside atrium. No mention. At best it is a Xbox 1 in S...
The regular ally and ally X is $650 and $899/999 respectively depending on if you want it more 720p or 1080p. I definitely am NOT the target market for this as I just play cell phone games when I have a spare minute at work. I also have a 4090 blah blah gaming laptop with an 18” screen connected to two 24 inch screens that I do work at home on in two windows and have master duel going on the laptop screen. I’ve always wondered who would go to lunch at work, eat, and break out a REAL game for ...
I have always loved Horizon. I will definitely be on this day one….. whenever day one is.
@ Foxtrot
I actually always get EVERY system including the Wii and Wii U 🤣. I truly am a lover of experiences and the qualities everyone brings to the table. I’ve been riding with Nintendo since Ring King and Duck Hunt. I had no real reason to buy the “upgrade” and when I did, I and many others got burned.
@Jeece
Nintendo has never made their new systems simply “graphical” upgrades except WiiU kinda. They innovate. This this time they didn’t and th...
I’m going with the Reggie Fis Aime view on this one. All new consoles start of strong, that’s when your die hard run out and early adopt. I think this time Nintendo did not innovate enough. This will not sell nearly as well as the regular switch in the long run. When they went from Wii to Wii U it started strong and bombed in comparison. I am looking to see what this looks like in a year to two years.
This is so hilariously bait ridden. Switch 2 is running the game between 635p-540p... PS4 Pro is running it at 1080p - 972p with 1080p being its norm.... These two are NOT the same and in no way is it running better at almost HALF the resolution. Literally everything else is moot at that point. If the PS4 pro was running at 540p-635p and freed up those resources AND had DLSS to clean up the image (remember, Pro doesn't have it as CDPR didn't go back and add it) do you realize how much...
Well day one
Actually sounds good as hell in my imagination. Definitely interested.
Ghost of Yotei edition
Would have drove Nintendo into the GROUND
