Nintendo HAS to reveal the official specifications for this new console. Too many unanswered questions and the reason their stock prices have dropped and investors are getting worried.

This game has NEVER been about graphics. Its about the gameplay which I loved personally. Love the series.
If you are judging this game by graphics alone, then it wont fare well as RFOM 1,2 had pretty mediocre visuals and effects...
but the gameplay was great imo.
They can utilize the cell all they want, it is still inferior in power to PC's today.
The PS3 cannot perform Tessellation...shader model 5.0...The PS3 has only 512 megs of ram to work with...5 year old GPU/CPU with limited bandwidth...can only use low floating point for HDR...ANYTHING HIGHER THE FRAME RATES WILL BE IN THE SINGLE DIGITS...Uses last generation AA in most games and MLAA which is a post production form of AA instead...
A single GPU for the PC has more bandwid...
MW3 is lacking so many of the advanced features that the Frost Bite 2.0 engine has, its easy for MW3 to run at 60fps.
When a game engine doe snot have HDR, or any form of real time dynamic lighting and effects, it SHOULD run 60fps LOL

And yet KZ3 does not even use HDR, ANY form of dynamic lighting in real time:
No use of Real time dynamic global illumination. Zilch.
No use of Natural lighting and dynamic soft shadows in real time. All pre calculated and pre baked.
No use of Eye adap...

The 3DS will price drop when the Vita is available in all markets.
They will have no choice.
The PSP feared the same fate as the Xbox1..in the sense it had very little true 3rd party support and it lacked the same variety of games as the DS.
This is going to change with the Vita at this price point AS developers won't shy away from the system.
With game support, the Vita will give Nintendo headaches this time around...and Nintendo wil HAVE to swall...

When the PS3 can output full 1080p GAMING at above 30 FPS using Real Anti-Aliasing and Dynamic lighting and effects together like PC gaming has been doing for the past 5+ years, then they can say it has a lot more headroom....until then its just PR talk.

Keeping quiet about your new system is all fine and dandy...and actually could be a good strategic move, HOWEVER in this case for Nintendo, they need to start giving MAJOR details as to the guts inside this console. And do it pronto.
With them showing off PS3 AND Xbox360 footage and saying the Wii-u can do this is not good enough.
Consumers just don't want a Wii that has the same performance as consoles that have been out for 5+ years.
