"Rise of Nightmares might be the best core Kinect game yet"
Oh boy...
Saying anything positive about Kinect on N4G.COM...well lets just say the responses should be interesting :P
Took them long enough lol
60fps because the game engine for MW3 is ancient and has absolutely no dynamic real time effects or destruction.
Hitman0769
Should be banned from this site
Its going to be hell of a game
@Raven_Nomad
"There new high tech, "AMAZING" Frostbite 2.0 engine cant even run 60 FPS. It's kind of lame to say the least."
Name me just ONE Console game on the Xbox360 or PS3 that looks like BF3's PS3 version that is rendering all that the Frostbite 2.0 engine is doing at 30fps?
I am waiting....good luck with that...
If you are the select few that actually think that these consoles can run BF3 like a PC a...
Sub 1080p???
What the hell is that???
And are you one of the few like Hitman that actually think these aging consoles can run a game like BF3 like the PC can in 1080p at 60 frames per second?
Hold a sec... http://pokato.net/demot/201...
"I'd rather a steady 30 than a jumpy 60 anyday."
So true...
Now RFOM 1 had rock steady frame rates because the graphics were not exactly pushing the system at all.
The visuals were pretty much mediocre to be honest
Go to Digital Foundry and they tell you that COD runs lower than 720p with variable frame rates.
The irony is the companies who make these phones USUALLY update their phone models after a year.
IE: Samsung Galaxy s and before now the Samsung Galaxy II is out with the third model hitting before the end of 2011 witha quad core chipset.
Now if Sony follows this trend with their PS Phone, it will most likely have a Quad Core chipset inside it...if that's the case and they use Nvidia's Kal El chipset, then that phone becomes more powerful than the PS Vita....
Don't kid yourself...
I personally only casually game on my Phone and would MUCH rather do my other gaming on a dedicated hand held for portable, but if you look at numbers recent, Cell Phone and Tablet gaming is quickly surpassing dedicated hand held gaming in market share.
The numbers are staggering. It's moving that fast in that area.
Will we see another dedicated handheld after the PS Vita and 3DS? Who knows but if you look at Mobile gaming demographic numb...
This is news?
@Dual
"People are just complaining that it does not look as good as PS3 top exclusives."
Here is the issue...
"Sony's first party devs were able to make those games..."
Not ONE of those PS3 exclusive games are rendering anything near what BF3 is doing. Name ONE PS3 game that is doing it.
KZ3, GOD 3, Uncharted 3...none of those games render fully dynamic destructible environments in real time......
Is anyone with me on this:
This is looking like this entire "PS3 fans complaining about BF3 not looking like the PC version"
is nonsense.
I can't believe rational thinking people would think the PS3 could run like a modern day PC.
I am beginning to believe this was all started by just a few retarded fanboys as is not indicative of the masses.
Reasonable thinking people cannot be that stupid.
And this article is a joke. ...
Just one question...
How is the console version gimped?
Do you REALLY think the PS3 and Xbox360 can run this game like a PC? Really? Seriously?
You actually expected these aging consoles (5 years or 6 years old) to run this game at 1080p@60 frames per second when ALMOST ALL PS3 AND XBOX360 GAMES RUN AT 720P@30 FRAMES PER SECOND WITH NO ANTI-ALIASING?
Name me just ONE PS3 or Xbox360 game that LOOKS THAT GOOD like the pre-alpha version ...
The sell more because they are cheaper.
Better is subjective.
I have all systems and love them all.
My pc is used for hardcore gaming
You actually think the PS3 can look anything NEAR the PC version? Really? Honestly?
The PS3 is 5+ years old.
The problem is too many Sony fanboys listen to every thing Ken K said and believed that the Cell CPU and PS3 were super computers from the future that would have all this hidden magical untapped power that would go on forever...
Reality check is the PS3 like the Xbox360 was obsolete 6 months after release in terms of PC hardware
1) You can build a gaming PC that is more powerful than consoles for under $800 that does much more than just play games.
The link I provided was for a gaming PC that costs $699. How much cheaper than that do you want? And that PC will game most of these multi-plat games in 1080p above 30fp
http://pc.ncix.com/ncixpc/n...
2) How complicated ...
Even without the DX11 patch, Crysis 2 on the PC looked better than KZ3. Don't kid yourself.
