If you have a gaming PC, get it for that.
If you don't have a gaming PC, then its the console version for you.
Its that simple.
All versions will look great.
The PS3 version shown looks great for the console version.
Its opengl equivalent does not support any of those features either
(Open GL1.0-2.0 for the PS3)
How much better you think the PS3 version will be over the Xbox360 version when both lack DX11 features such a Advanced Tessellation, Shader Model 5.0, Advanced Compute Shader just to name a few etc?
This has nothing to do with disk limitations. This has to do with GPU/CPU and memory and bandwidth limitations BOTH the PS3 and Xbox360 suffer from.

MW3 effects are all pre baked and calculated and scripted. MW3 has no tessellation support so its textures will not even look the same.

The real issue is BF3 is doing more under the hood than any of those games and for DICE to get the game running on the PS3 the way it is looking is an amazing feat.
You have to ask yourself this:
If PS3 exclusive games used a game engine like Frostbite 2.0 and had all those effects and graphics running in real time at that scale, would it look like it does?

Then you have others stating MAG, RFOM, WipeoutHD and other game etc....
Here is a reality check for those people:
99% OF THE PS3's AND Xbox360's GAME LIBRARY runs in 720p@30fps or lower.
ANY game running at 1080p@30+FPS ON THESE AGING CONSOLES ARE either PSN or XBL games...

KZ3 is an amazing looking game but it lacks, dynamic destruction in real time. All destruction and lighting in KZ3 is pre calculated and scripted.All of it.
KZ3 also lacks real time dynamic lighting.
No subsurface scattering in real time.
KZ3 does not even use HDR, it uses LDR and NA032.
KZ3 effects are all pre calculated.
Limited vehicle use.

Anyways as stated DICE has always stated they do not use CGI or pre rendered images to showcase their games.
This has been confirmed by the developers, EA and others.
Maybe ps3bestever you're upset that a certain company likes to showcase its games USING CGI trailers and trying to pass it off as IN GAME :p
