Sony did well.
However it's Nintendo's show to lose now.

I just feel sorry for anyone outside of the US.
The price point in the US is great IMO...a nice surprise!
Anywhere else however, it seems the price is insane. It's almost double the US price!
This is the only troubling spot I can see for this handheld.
Prices outside the USA.

The initial price of the PSP also help kill it

$250 is still expensive for most average gamers, HOWEVER when you compare the same priced 3DS with its features and the features of the Vita, its a no brainer IF you are going to drop that kind of coin for a handheld.
Nintendo is in for some serious ass competition this time around and if they don;t drop the price of the 3DS come time the Vita is launched, Sony is going to come ahead in this area.
Features alone for the Vita is far and above the 3DS...AND THEY COST THE SAME. ...

Washed up rapper from the 90's?
He was very influential during that time period for hip-hop.

At the price point they revealed, the lineup should increase over time.
Nintendo is in a world of hurt with the announcement of the Vita's price point.
Love this competition.

Vita price point was the highlight.
Its Nintendo's E3 to lose now.

Sony did well...Lets see what Nintendo has to offer now.
The price point for the NGP (I cant call it that other name lol) was the highlight of the Sony show...which is fantastic and sad at the same time.
But I tell you, Nintendo just pooped its pants at that price point. 3DS is in a world of trouble unless Nintendo does a major price cut right before the NGP releases. If not, Sony will come out on top with this handheld.
Nintendo if they announce a new Wii and they ha...

MW3 game engine is the same as the last.
Its dated and it shows.
Looking at a game like BF3, then comparing the two...
MW3 looks plain sad

$800 PC will run this game in detail the PS3 will never handle. That's reality.

The PS3 lacks tessellation.
Lacks the ability to use high floating point HDR in real time.
Lacks DX11 features.
Lacks the memory for ultra high resolution textures.
Lacks a modern CPU/GPU to render all those effects in real time with procedural destruction at that fidelity.

We know your the biggest Sony fanboy on this site, but get real. The console version of this game will not look anything like the PC version.
These ALPHA demos are r...

Don't kid yourself. The PS3 and Xbox360 are closer in terms of overall graphics and power than you think.
Both systems cannot run a fraction of its games in 1080p above 30fps using real Anti-Aliasing.
How many games on these consoles use higher floating point HDR FOR ITS GAMES?
Use of real time lighting and effects while keeping 720p resolution?(which is a 7 year old resolution by PC standards)
They are almost the same.
The biggest difference in sy...

The average consumer game player buys mostly multi-platform games as seen by demographic software sales statistics.

@stonecold

and yet the PS3 like the Xbox360 still cannot run more than 1% of its entire game library at 1080p@30+fps using real AA with interactive backgrounds and real lighting effects.

The irony is all the items listed above in this article for "NEXT GENERATION CONSOLES" are already ALL ACCOMPLISHED ON THE PC right now and have been for the past 5 years.
