Win8 will be a cross platform OS on Tablets, Cellphones and PC's very very soon and as such you will have access to all content as such.

Yes you can so if you have the space on your Xbox360, a full install is the way to go and it will end up loading faster than running on optical media.
So its a wash if it comes on 3 disks or 1 disk. If you are going to install it, there is no difference.
PC's do not need Blu-Ray as all the games are installed on the HDD or SSD, and as such the game loads many times faster than running on DVD or Blu-ray.
Consoles from day one should have been like this with massive HDD so optical medium for disk space would not be a factor at all.
Installing 25GB on my 240GB SSD is nothing, let alone my two 1.5GB HDD.
All Sony has to do is add sufficient RAM that is unified and not split into pools.
Make the platform easier to develop for and this time take advice from game developers in this regard.
Have software development tools on the level or close to it like MS development tools and the PS4 will be the system to get.

What you are seeing is a slight increase.
This has been the case this entire generation for JRPG's in the West. Western Style RPG's have taken over and JRPG's are having a hard time establishing itself once again in the Western market.

It's a catch-22 for EPIC.
If EPIC decided NOT to go that route, then they would have been criticized for not having a emotional story and you could just hear all the crying how the story is the "same."

Most agmes this generation are no larger than 16 gigs of ACTUAL GAME-PLAY CONTENT.
Most of the Blu-Ray games for example use uncomressed Audio and full 1080p cut scenes which take up LARGE amounts of space.
Actual game content is still well under 16 gigs all around.
RAM and Bandwidth are the largest limiting factors for console games right now.

If you tried Win7 mobile you would know its actually a great OS. The OS is actually smoother than Android and more stable. I have both platforms.
When Nokia brings out hardware for that OS you will see a difference.
The Galaxy S II is also coming to Win7 mobile.
