My Asus G74S-A1 can handle BF3 on high levels. My desktop PC will be running the game at almost max.
Its going to sell because of that price tag.

One game is more realistic than the other.
If you want a arcade shooter...COD is your game.
If you want a mix of Arcade and MORE of a tactical shooter, Buy BF3.
Mark Hamill is one of my favorites.
He does the Joker perfectly. He has done so many other titles also, I lost count. All done fantastic.
This will be a big threat to the ipad3.
That price alone even though it lacks half the features will turn heads.

from a technical standpoint BF3 is doing a lot more than KZ3 and U2.
KZ3 does not use HDR at all. It uses LDR and NAO32.
The lighting engine in KZ3 is almost all pre calculated/pre baked.
Soft shadow effects in KZ3 are all pre baked.
There is NO DYNAMIC destruction at all.
All scripted.
UC2/3 fairs the same way mostly.
BF3 on consoles DOES not look as good as KZ3 or UC3. That's a given...

Only on N4G.COM can people actually think the PS3 version of BF3 will look even remotely good as the PC version.
This game is running an almost full dynamic game engine with real time soft shadows etc/lighting and destruction with Global Illumination and other real time effects.
Of COURSE the PS3 and the Xbox360 versions will not look like the PC version.
Are people that daft?
If graphics matter then you need to game on a PC. If you were thinking these consoles would look and run the same game like a PC, then you bought into too much PR babble by Sony and MS and related game publishers etc.
Japan will only buy APPLE products as American electronics.
They will not buy American.

Which is ironic because the PC uses the same DVD-9 and you won't hear anyone say:

As long as you can install the game FULLY on the HDD, (Xbox360, or PC) disk medium means nothing.
