Uncharted 3 does look better for the console version of BF3. No argument there. Its a given...
HOWEVER, UC3 is also not rendering even half of what BF3 is doing on the console though. Give credit where credit is due.
UC3 would NOT look like the way it would if it was running a dynamic engine like what BF3 is doing even on consoles.
Can you imagine what BF3 would look like if DICE went the route of ND for BF3?

I also have seen this when GT5 is brought up also this generation.
When Forza is brought up, you hear especially on this site:
"GT5 sold this amount of millions in one week while Forza only sold this amount in one month...GT5 is better...etc"

Both of the console versions look basically the same. The differences are minor to actually know the difference when playing.
If you want a huge difference in game play and extra visual add ons, buy the upcoming PC version.
Otherwise the console versions are almost the same.
If you played it you would know why it won. The game is that good.
Portal 2 will not appeal to some gamers. As a matter of fact it most likely not appeal to quite a bit of console only players.
Its truly a unique game with ingenious puzzles and humour etc.
There is a reason it scored 95% overall on metacritic.
Gamers of all platforms should give this game a try. Its different and fresh.

PC's had patches for years...and now consoles this and last generation the same exact thing.

If you leave ideas like artistic direction and choreography at the door and simply concentrate on pure engine ability, textures, lighting, geometry etc. then the likes of Gears 3, Assassin's Creed: Revelations, Rage and even Uncharted 3 are simply left gasping. It's a patent generational leap and the kind of experience you could easily imagine as a launch title on the next batch of consoles."
