Lucky indeed. Folks over here use socialism like its a 4 letter word. Meanwhile, my medical costs each month are 749.00. Granted, my employer pays 3/4 of that but I am blessed to have such good coverage. The normal Joe pays out of his own pocket.
US medical costs ate ridiculous. I'd love to pay 10% more in taxes each pay day and know I can go to any Dr for any reason and not pay one penny.

Phil, it is so worth it. The system is ridiculous and the games look absolutely georgous. Knowing what I know now ( had system since 15th) I'd pull an all nighter in below freezing temps if I had to. Its that awesome. Plus once they sold out lord knows when restocking will happen.

I do agree that at ps3 launch it was all out slander on the ps3. I had a different account but was on n4g in the days of the open zone. It was Xbox heaven in here. That is ridiculous. The whole point I thought was seamless multitasking? When I buy a new computer that's "advanced technology" I shouldn't have to close browsers that I'm not currently viewing. The system should run with them active so if I want to "snap" back to it I can.
Agreed. All console wars should enact a WWI Christmas day truce. When someone is down we all be nice and offer coffee or a smoke.
Buying a new console isn't like getting a new pair of pants. Its a dream for most of us and we have to save up for it. To have issues is gut wrenching. I wish a faulty console on no one.

A resounding yes. As the quirks of AC games are there, overall it is a HUGE improvement over 3. Great visuals and they really paid attention to the details. Being out at sea when a storm hits and typhoons are swirling your bow as you try to escape the clutches of a man-o-war is awesome. Oh, it also has whales. WHALES.
Trine 2 is an awesome game. Looks so good and great puzzles and gameplay. Really impressed me.
When I first turned on ACBF and saw that lush jungle and great draw distance I was literally dumbfounded. That right there made dealing with day one stress worth it.

Agreed. I use Facebook to stay in touch with my mom and sister who live far away. To think folks use it every few minutes and need it on a gaming console is baffleing to me. Then again, I'm 40.

I have enjoyed reading the European release date GAF thread lol. People are going bananas. Those who were waiting in 1000 person lines to those with the dreaded "not dispatched" status on Amazon. It sounded like a total zoo over there.
