ACBF is awesome. Battlefield outshines it for mp though. I got ACBF for my SP fix then when burnt out on raping hunter ships I go kill people in my boat.
Oh man I remember waiting for Oblivion. That was the worst. Then when I finally got it and came out of the sewer and saw cyrodill. My jaw dropped. I put 20 hours in before I even went to Kvatch lol.
What matters is the games. If there are not any you enjoy you might as well keep the money. That said, the games that are out look fantastic. ACBF looks stunning. Battlefield, aside from the horrendous lag and rubber banding is a total blast to play 32*32 on conquest. Buildings collapsing around you and rockets and bullets whizzing everywhere.
Good luck killer. I camped out for the 360 and it was awesome. Met people who Istill game with. This last time iI was smart and preordered my ps4 the day after E3. Glad I did. There were 100 people at my GameStop and only 50ish got a unit.
You nailed it. I cut my teeth on gaming on the acrade Mario brothers at 7-11 stores back in the 80s so I will always have a soft spot for them. I'm not rich but 250 bucks or so for a secondary console that allows me to not only play all my old time favorite games AND get a sweet tablet (gamepad) is a no brainer.
I have friends that will spend 300 on a weekend of beer, steaks and jet ski rentals. I'm a homebody. All my disposable income goes into my electronics.
@mikes. I respectfully disagree. I love just playing the SP mode. I'm 40 and I love just racing around trying to get 3 stars in all races to unlock the bowser car. Something about it I guess....the maps, the music and the characters. MK8 looks sweet. 1080p, anti gravity, hanggliders...gonna be a hoot.
Granted, my WiiU is my secondary/lay in bed while I play console. Ps4 is my bread and butter.

Agreed. Its funny to give a ribbing once in a while to others but this type of malicious activity is deplorable. I might not buy certain companies products for personal reasons but I would never wish such ill will towards people who do own them.
As any Sony console owner knows, there is one thing that is a given. Lots of high quality games come to the platform. Maybe its because I'm old (40) but I don't panic when a game isn't given a trailer or gameplay shown every month. For the last 7 years I have experienced so many great 1st party games on the ps3 that I have no problem being patient with a dev so they have time to release a great looking and great playing game.
I'd much rather wait 6 months for ...

Off topic. One of the best shows ever was seeing Nirvana open for the Melvin's at the Offramp in '89.
@peppino. As the blue tooth does not work yet you can still plug the headphones into the controller. They work great. I've been doing that since day 1. You can still leave the power cable out and run on battery for 7-8 hours. I just plug in to charge when I'm done gaming. So basically, you just have to deal with the little wire going from phones to controller.
See, then its not working perfectly. If your audio cuts out on multiple maps and you still experience a crash then the game is broken. Just for the fact that people say, "hey I only lost connection twice today and almost half the maps have sound! Sweet!", means battlefield players are so beaten down that a semi running mess is a success.
Bottom line, gents, enjoy what you have. There are a lot of people going hungry or without a home that would kill to be able to by their kids a ps4 or Xbox one for Christmas but can't. Not due to them being sold out but because they have no money for anything this holiday.

I agree. This is a great way to get a game into the wild with guaranteed, albeit, moderate revenue. The point is that if your game is fun the next release can expect big returns. If your game sort of flops you can go back to the drawing board. For me I had never heard of Quantum Conundrum and got it cheap on Plus. I immediately realized I loved it and will not hesitate to buy their next one. Without Plus I would have never experienced it.
