FedEx "misplaced" my original PS4 launch day model, but they were fast to admit the mistake though.
This is the same guy that said Blu-Ray would be as retro as VHS by 2014. Not the best individual to get your tech info from.

"Day One" not "Week One."
Not that big of a deal to say the name of the console before entering voice commands. You still have to say "Playstation" before using the PS4 voice commands.
I don't remember Sony wanting to charge me for trading in games.
I remember Gabe Newell saying the system was junk and Sony needed to start over along with the whole PS3 is a paper-weight joke.
I lucked out and got my PS4 bundled with BF4 and the camera from Walmart online last week. I called in to see when it's scheduled to ship and they said I should have it no later than the 16th.
@Spinal That's a little hypocritical don't you think? Just because you have had no issues with the game doesn't invalidate that people who are having issues.
Power lines and other distant objects is where 1080p matters. Go watch the demo of the driving sequence from BF4 single player when they pass under the power lines on the Xbone, the PS4, and then the PC. Jagged power lines and distant buildings are my biggest graphical peeve.
Nah, I called a few places and they almost all expect a mid-December availability.
Anyways don't buy it on eBay yet. If you have patience, Walmart is still releasing several systems for preorder randomly throughout the day. There's a site that monitors stock from a few places that I used. Just got my PS4 bundle preordered on there yesterday.
Yeah I got a warning for also blowing up a guys car with a sticky grenade after he ran down my friend and started shooting at me.

To be completely honest the PS3 launch was fairly successful hardware wise. On the software end though, lets just say I waited 5 months before I even bought a game for the thing.
@MicDude
Download speeds are getting faster, but imagine a next gen game as popular as GTA V and suddenly you have over 5 million people attempting to download 50 GB at once. At that point service speed doesn't matter if the current infrastructure can't support it.
Improvements are being made, but what we is more of a complete overhaul.
The size of games are growing at a much faster rate than bandwidth here in the states. Downloading 50 gig games would put a lot of stress on the existing infrastructure if everyone needed to do it.
Wrong, the average PC set-up on Steam only has a dual core processor and stats that would make games from 2009 and on blow it up.
I remember I had an issue playing newer discs on my old Xbox mostly during cut-scenes. Look up some stuff regarding the laser adjustment for your lens. Found the screw and turned it up slightly, haven't had an issue reading games since.
I can understand dealing with issues at launch, but an hour after 7am the game is exactly where it was yesterday. They should have known how many players would try to access the online mode. Oh well, I'll give it a shot after work.
On Xbox, can't get past the first race. Don't all these kids have school and jobs to go to?
They haven't ruled out 32 players completely, they just said that it would only be 16 players at launch. I imagine when they get some of the major bugs fixed they'll add a game mode with 32 players along with a map-extension.
Looks nice, but I'd reserve judgment until we see more than three seconds of gameplay.
