Or it was just the same prerendered crap developers have been trying to sell as their upcoming game for the past six years.
It's like dating online. You show up thinking you're going out with a tall blonde and it ends up being a short, fat, divorced 40 year old man.
Yep, but imagine being invited to go bowling in 6k though!
I believe it's broadcast on satellite there, but I'm not sure if it's very popular. I would think that there would be a lot of humor lost on foreign crowds since the show focuses so much on American culture. That and I know East vs West humor can be very different. Not sure though.
So we should all quit our day jobs because we like to hang with friends and make good impressions?
I honestly think it's a tax-evasion scheme in Germany. He could care less about quality, just as long as they spend all the money "donated" to his company. Video games are easy targets because you have to pay for the license and the story is already mostly there.
I was so excited for that game and devastated when they canned it. Surely the PS4 would be able to get pretty close to the prerendered trailer they showed ages ago.
Welcome to a market economy. You should be prepared to justify every aspect of your product if you want to convince people to pay what you're asking for it. Try being a salesman for a day and you'll realize that justifying price is a common business expectation.
Looks like I'll be waiting until they go for $5 on eBay (two weeks after release).
I had to log into PSN through my laptop to start the Outlast download. It's moving really slow, like 2hrs to download 150 MB slow.
BF4 has a number of smaller indoor maps and they seem to work fine. Very frustrating to think you have made it across an open area under fire alive only to then die safely behind cover.
If it is related to video game culture it can be on this site. Rumors technically aren't news either, but they end up here all the time.
What else are we supposed to look at on slow news days?
My PS3 did just fine rendering 3D images on several games in HD, I think the PS4 will be just fine.
EDIT: My one concern would be input lag
If Sony is going to be competing with Oculus head on, they already have the cost advantage due to their existing economies of scale. I imagine it will be released $50-$100 more than the Rift, but there will most likely be huge quality differences.
Would be nice to finally have a setting in a game that isn't completely played out by now. The graphics aren't that great, but I like the idea.
Agree with the DLNA support. I was able to get some streaming done with Plex on their website, but it is so inconsistent that it's easier for me to put files on an ex-HDD and plug it into my TV.
None of these companies are going to "flop." Worse-case scenario they'll be restructured or sell off certain divisions. Nintendo may stop producing home consoles, but they'll be major players in handheld gaming and software for a long time.
and I never thought there was a huge difference between 30 FPS and 60 FPS until I played some games on my PS4. The 1080p is really noticeable when you are playing a game with large draw distances like this one.
The same conversations were going on here at N4G back in 2007. "The leap from PS2 to PS3 and Xbox to Xbox 360 isn't that noticable and you should get a PC." The simple fact is that consoles are able to compete with high-end PC's early in their life cycles for less money due to a thing called economies of scale.
Yeah, it looks like there should be a Mad Catz logo all over that thing.
Jeeze, what's they're brightness and contrast set to? Those are terrible blacks in that gif.
