@William_Cade the short playtime just made it feel more constricted than most role-playing games. The full campaign is about ten hours spread across just over a dozen chapters, which leaves very little room for genre conventions like in-depth character development and exploration. To that end I felt Cyanide’s decision to bill the game an RPG came off as a bit misleading. It’s as much an RPG as a Tex Murphy adventure is.
Yeah, I'm right there with you. I'm sure they could figure out some kind of workaround, but it really wouldn't be the same. Still, I'd like to see how the franchise evolves from here, as given its success I'm sure it'll find a new home somewhere else.
It is, but that version is priced twice what Hamster’s ACA NeoGeo version is IIRC. This is a steal for those who’ve yet to snag the game.
Yup! I remember that well. Such an overlooked game.
You're in for a real treat - I promise.
You just said this was the first good review you’d seen for the game, with everything else averaging at 7. That sounds a lot like you’re implying that a game that scores a 7 is not good, when by any measure a 7 is above average. Good games don’t just fall in the 8-10 scale.
Since when does a 7 translate to a bad score? 7/10 is above average. There are two 8/10 reviews at the bottom of this very page.
Cool premise, but a shame it falls flat.
The world is a better place with more beat ‘em ups
No, no, Poncho.
Loved the previous game, and this looks even more over the top.
This looks perfectly mediocre.
Elevator Action and twerking? Sign me up!
Now that's an absolute classic. However, the Sega fanboy in me is a bit partial to Hyperstone Heist.
Yeah, I'll be golfing over this one.
What a waste.
Looks solid enough.
Looks like a fun and goofy alternative to Smash Bros.
Should be. Pre-orders are guaranteed for anyone who snags a copy over the next two weeks. LRG is learning!
Well, I certainly won’t be able to unsee that anytime soon.
