I honestly had high hopes for it. Unfortunately, it feels like a collection of disparate, ill-fitting parts thrown together with little to no polish. The end result is unsurprisingly a mess.

That's absolutely an idea I can get behind. Hopefully, if this sells anywhere near as well as KoFXIV (I know, that's an uphill battle for Heroines) did then we very well may see another entry in the series down the road.
