That's a typical Saturday not for me. Not sure how you do things where you come from!
This is awesome news. The original SNES release was a great game, and Natsume can do no wrong.
Day One purchase for me, that's for sure.
Sure. But The New Order wasn't developed by id Software, it was developed by MachineGames.
The author did in fact mention Wolfenstein: The New Order, and the fact that the game was developed by MachineGames, not Id Software.
Additionally, lifting the embargo is irrelevant, as Bethesda is not providing review builds until the game's release date.
None of the things you're saying have remotely anything to do with concerns the article is addressing.
I don't think there's any hate for it, at least that I haven't seen. The main issues are Bethesda's decision to send out review code on launch day and the extremely scarce bits of the single player portion that's been showcased.
That said, I think many have every right to be concerned, but I definitely hope the game delivers.
Here's hoping it does manage to, but this relative radio silence regarding the single player portion of the game is certainly scary.
Seriously. I've been waiting a long time for this.
Leave it to Idea Factory International, man. Those names are always a mouthful!
The flood of DRPGs on the Vita is endless!
@coolbeans I had the same issue as well. Episode 2 had entirely too much backtracking and felt like a step in the wrong direction for the series. Once Upon A Climb borrows the freedom of choice that we were introduced to in Rubble Without A Cause, albeit in a less heavyhanded way, while rekindling the things that made the series' debut so exciting.
That said, you're in for a treat!
It's without a doubt the best yet. If you haven't had a chance to check out the series yet I can't recommend it enough.
Definitely nice to see that they seem to making good on that. As a huge fan of the Dungeons in the SMT and Digital Devil Saga titles I'm hoping to see some similarly creative dungeons this time around.
Agreed. But I can't help but feel the series would definitely benefit from the types of dungeons we see in proper SMT titles, along with Digital Devil Saga, as they strike a great balance between puzzle solving and exploration.
I appreciate the in-depth response to the piece, Monkeyman. I really do hope that Nintendo's gamble to release the NX during what's traditionally a slow time for the industry really pays dividends for them. More importantly, I hope the company is able to court enough third party support to carry them throughout the year with a level of software that allows them to regain a competitive foothold in the console market.
Unless Zelda sets the world on fire, I can't for the life of me understand what Nintendo is doing regarding E3.
I'll definitely be making use of this. Thanks for the tip!
I watched the video you shared and it's painfully obvious the Chris and Jill sprites are entirely different from the ones showcased in the screenshot this piece discusses.
I agree wholeheartedly.
