Nomura had to fond some side work for his waifu since people don't like her, and her games sold like shit.
Because no one bought it. Then no one bought the Wii version. Then no one bought Okamiden. Then no one bought the HD version on PS3.
Bastion was less than $4 when it came over, and Transistor has been free and on sale many times. Come on bro! Also get the dynamic theme for Transistor. It's really cool.
I agree Dark Cloud is likely, since the first two are ported to the PS4 now. However I'm putting my money behind Rouge Galaxy.
Hell, we don't really even need a dub. Just sub the thing. I'm guessing they might try and cut content again.
No you're a sick bastard because you like CoD, j/k. What I mean by shallow games is a game with very little content. Think Ground Zeroes, or Star Wars Battlefront. I mean there's nothing wrong with saying the characters are sexy, because that's the intention. I could give you a link right now (well not now because I'm at work) with rule 34 of all the characters. You could see everything, and no time will need to be spent playing vollyball or jumping on blocks. The game can exi...
To dirkdady's point I agree there were worse games that we wanted good things from, but I think the reason people were more upset is the same reason people are defending it. It's Star Wars.
Well my biggest problem is that games like this perpetuate the idea that us male gamers are just loser nerds who'll never get any. I don't speak for everyone but I don't want to want this to be an image associated with me and of male gamers. However, a lot of people have to understand that this game is also depicting this girls as things that will reward you with boobs for doing good. Now I'm not trying to go all SJW on you guys, but there is some truth to the image of some wo...
Also, why are you guys ok with certain things with this game? You're ok with it having tons of microtransaction? Why not ask for a real game with some content? DOA5 was pretty egregious with it's DLC practices, and this is going to continue until you ask for something better. Again though, if you'd rather pay a bunch of money for the softest of softcore porn when there's a thing called rule 34 be my guest.
Since the community got so butthurt I'll make my point a little more clearly. Toei wants your money. Toei thinks that you guys are a bunch of horney otaku (which is seriously not a complement in Japanese society) that will buy anything sexual. Even if it was just a animated picture book, you'd buy it for $60. The games have always been pretty shallow, and honestly nothing to write home about. This fact really hit home to Toei when the second game bombed super hard with an estimated qu...
I think you're overestimating the fan base. I don't think there's enough people for them to make a profit, and contrary to what many people believe it's all about profit. Also I believe you can get foreign DLC packages, but you need to go about it differently. You need to buy psn bucks from a place like play-asia, and yes they do sell codes.
There's not really anything that impressive with this tech. Maybe a higher quality video would change my mind, but I saw better skin tech on Fatal Frame 5. Also people need to grow up about this game. Just clean yourself up, stop wearing ironic anime/video game shirts all the time, and maybe you'll be able to touch a real boob someday. Also if you think the tech demo video is good, would you still be impressed with the tech if it was Zack teabagging the ball? Really folks do you want ...
I think the one thing this game does is it tells studios that if you do a console exclusive (timed or not) that it's a big risk. What also should be taken from this is that you shouldn't LAUNCH THE SAME DAY AS ONE OF THE MOST ANTICIPATED GAMES OF THE YEAR! I think as far as the former of those to go, I think it'll mean Microsoft will have to dish out more money to get these deals to continue.
I feel bad for the people they'll bring in to make the next game. I'm sure there's a bunch of people with talent that will work on it, but it'll tank thanks to Konami's actions. Even if they made a good game (that obviously wouldn't be the same), no one would give it the time of day. Though honestly, I think it'll end up being like fan fiction. Whether it's good fan fiction or awful fan fiction is yet to be seen. I just hope one day Kojima can buy back the righ...
Foxtrot,it's probably legal bullshit. It always is.
I'd say Persona 5 is so far, though there's bunch of good titles out next year. Also, I want to know more about Ace Combat 7, because I love those games.
Probably easier to make content for since KPLA is gone.
I like this guy. I agree completely. Also, I did like his shirt.
I bet they have a skeleton crew working on this thing. It's looking like a digital only title, and hopefully it'll be under $20. If this game comes out at $60 looking like this it'll be laughed all the way to the bargain bin, and then the landfill.
Johndoe11211, he probably meant game marketing. They still aim for 18 year old male as the target demographic.Though its dumb because the average game is about 30, and it's equally male and female. Honestly publishers and overzealous marketing are what's ruining video games.
