A good indie beats a bad AAA any day. Some of the indies aren't that great, but knowing the indie guys get a nice bit of money for each download I feel better about it. Mostly because it helps these 1 or small team studios grow.
The other thing people have to understand is PS3 AAA games came at the end of the PS3's life. There's not a lot of AAA games, but that's another argument.
In the flash sale. Also, I meant the PS3 version. I know it doesn't help 100% of people, but it was a thing.
It was 99 cents up until yesterday. If you don't like the price you should have taken that deal.
Why not both?
I like that it looks like the golem has a megaphone that's too small for him.
Yes, I agree. I actually hope he countersues them, because if he goes after revenue lost from them taking down his videos it could really do some good.
What everyone has to understand is this will probably not hurt Jim. However what this will do is set a legal precedence. It shows that if you're a shit game peddler, and you're called out for it, that is not slander.
It also needs to be pointed out that Digital Holmeside has done some pretty shitty things that if brought up will kill things for them right away, and maybe earn them a less ridiculous countersuit. I also get a real chuckle that they're representing...
Looks good so far. I'll be interested in trying it when it's out.
This is true, but I'd still people would enjoy it. Even if there was a lot of death by rear flanks.
It's also crazy the game is still in development. It was announced a while ago. Many of the other indies that were shown with it are already out.
Honestly what needs to happen is devs need to make a patch that changes first person games controls. Have it so camera movement is done by moving your head around instead of an analog stick, and you've got it set.
MurDocINC nailed it.
Remember folks, there's a set number of pixels on the device. The bigger the image is the more pixelated the image will be.
Also, the 19 people who disagree with his post are idiots for not understanding this concept.
Considering the small sample size I think it's not something to take seriously. I do think it will be adopted by everyone right away, but that's just how it goes. I won't be buying one day one, but I have my own reasons for that (it's money). I think it'll sell alright, but it needs to get the games. Once that happens it'll really take off. I also think it's what they do the following holiday that really cements the fate of the device.
It has been a trend lately with some companies. it's a interesting way to get good out since the gaming public eats rumors up like hotcakes.
Skorge would also be cool since his use in Gears 2 wasn't as cool as it should have been.
It's probably a complicated backend issue. It's obviously possible, since Microsoft figured it out, but it's built on the awkward framework that was the original PSN. They obviously get enough heat for it that it'll happen, but it'll be a bit. I know a the N4G base is pretty young, but pushing 30 now I can say that you really start to find things you do in your 20's silly, and are kinda embarrassed by what you said/did in high school. Since my generation was the first ...
Because he's a CEO. He doesn't want to cause a panic. Most companies don't give full disclosure. Mostly because they need to wait until thing are pretty much set in stone (and not something that can bite them in the ass) before giving a public comment.
I keep saying this, but when it can play MGS4 it's ready to go,
Yup. I mostly stick around just to scrunch up their fedoras by telling the truth they can't deal with or understand. Though there's some good people still around.
Are you a child, or just a man child? I'm pretty moderate on a lot of things, but I guess you can put me with the feminists on this one. Though not for a lot of the reasons you'd think. There was no way this was going to be a good game, and a lot of people saw the writing on the wall. It's the 3rd game in a pretty mediocre series. Hell, the mainline DOA series is kinda not doing so well, and it's kind of sad how much quality has disappeared. Hell, I see so many hardcore gamers...
