I mean I don't play street fighter for sexy girls. I use Ken/Ryu (mostly Ken), so I'm not really benefiting from it. Plus I'm not looking at the costume when I'm whooping someone's ass, or getting my butt kicked. Sexyness is the last thing on my mind. There's porn and real women if I want to look at sexy women, not cartoon girls that are a bit skimpy.

Because the fighting mechanics be damned as long as there's hot people for you to wank to :P

There's a lot of weird things with the art style if we're to nitpick. Like how their bodies are proportioned oddly, and I'm not talking about the boobs. Though it's well documented that things have been getting weird as the anime continued.

Man, I have to say, I never really liked the art style for the female characters in this anime. Kinda gross. It's like all the fluids and fat in their bodies went right to their boobs, and it makes them look like anorexic women with overly large implants.

Sony isn't in the same position as Microsoft, so that's probably not going to be effective. These are corporations people. These guys exist to make money, and please their shareholders. If there's anytime left over they'll try and make you happy. The reason MS is trying to make people happy is because the top brass and some shareholders aren't as confident in the brand right now. So they're trying to boost sales to look good. People also need to understand that for eve...

Well, besides some of the reasons I mentioned before, they also are done to test the waters or get people interested in a sequel or remake. We've certainly seen this be the case with a few games. However we should probably remember that this is also companies trying to earn some revenue from the aforementioned base while working on projects. We also have to remember that a lot of the AAA publishers were not super confident in this gen, but it's looking to be the biggest selling gen of...

People need to understand that a lot of this is beneficial to people who have skipped last gen or didn't have the console X HD was on. Seeing how a lot of 360 only fans moved to PS4 instead of the Xbox One it does make sense. There's also a big influx of kids coming of age that might come to appreciate the game between the system's launch and next gen. That or just becoming old enough where the parents are ok with violent games. They're also cheap to make, and often have a s...

Pachter is always right, even when he's wrong. Not sure why people take him so seriously, but he does have his finger more on the pulse of the industry than some people I've seen commenting on N4G.

You can really be around the same level as him by just paying attention to current events in the industry, and understanding how businesses work. Something that you can do without a college education. Also, it helps to understand how game development works too. The rest i...

It's a small indie game. It's better to buy the game on sale than to snag it on plus. It's one thing to not think a game is your style, but holding out for plus is not a great thing for indie devs. Unless you're really strapped for cash I recommend buying indie games when you can. In full disclosure I know one of the makers through a friend. Mostly saying this because there's a trend of this kinda thing.

Mostly to make sure netcode is working good at launch. Make sure there's no bugs. That there's plenty of content. Let's not forget vanilla SF4 was a bit sparse of content.

The better question is what's the harm in waiting a day or two? Hell, even a week?

I'm excited for the release, but I'm still going to hold off a bit to see reviews. I usually advocate people not pre-order, but it's your choice to take such a risk. I did play the beta, and I enjoyed it. However I also enjoyed Destiny's beta. I hope the game is good, but people should wait for reviews, or youtube/twitch personalities to give the game a run.

PC_60, if I recall correctly it was announced as launching on PS4 or console exclusive.

Xbox fans have a lot to be happy about, and fun stuff to play this year. However there's not a fucking chance. However sales will probably get better from Christmas 2016 on as people like me who buy all the consoles will finally break and get one when the price hits their sweet spot. Probably won't be until Scalebound for me, but we'll see. Until then I have my PC to do the heavy lifting, and the Wii U and PS4 for everything else.

Yes, but the Xbox systems (and especially the Xbox One) have sold horribly. Worse than any of it's real competition. Hopefully that Xbox logo on your profile won't blind you from that fact.

Honestly at this point pirating isn't needed. As many have said steam sales have really helped, and there's been some great sales on XBL and PSN. As well as PS+ and Games For Gold have given gamers free games for their subscriptions. There are some cases where I think that it is useful. Situations like where a a company goes belly up or are bought out, and it starts to disappear from stores. A great example up until recently was the Deadpool game. Though after playing it on PS4 I can ...

I agree it's a good thing they're stepping up with PC support, but I really feel bad for them at this point. Especially since they're getting obliterated in sales by Sony. It's kinda why I'm glad I got the PS4 and Wii U first, because I wanted something more than a PC extension. Which at this point isn't helping Microsoft, and scaring interested parties away. At this point I'm probably going to get a Scalebound bundle bundle since Platinum has said there's no w...

Yeah, everyone bought into the hype for it (myself included). Then the sales dropped off drastically with each sequel. Final Fantasy 13-2 sold about 3 million worldwide, and Lightning Returns has maybe sold a million units by now? Nice way to spin the trilogy that almost bankrupted Square-Enix. It's also not a good game, and makes FFX look godlike.

I'm starting to feel like the Xbox One is the Vita of PC. Now I like the Vita, but I mean this is horrible. It feels like every time I get to the 5 game mark for Xbox One one (or more) of those games comes to PC. I have the desire to buy a Xbox One, but I have a year old PC that can run games at 4k. Why would I chose an Xbox One version of a game when I can run it better on the PC?
