All of the complaints about the way One works are from sheep and shortsighted people. This will bring a lot of unique abilities to the Xbox. I even see some games applications to the media features. The things I can imagine these features being used for are why I'll be getting One.

Console holding back PCs is an excuse. There are tons of PC exclusives every year. If developers were going to push the hardware they would on those. But they usually don't. The real reason is that it's a open platform with so many possible set ups. It would be impossible to optimize a game for all of them and no one will take on that cost anyway.
