Well you can't keep taking 5 years and 200 million to make a game that may not sell well. It's a big risk and it's gotten way out of control. Greed, laziness and lack of inspiration take their toll. "Corporate gaming" is not going to work forever.
This is the game that started the decline of the franchise never mind remaking it.
HD the gamecube remake of the original RE if you want to make something good.
The RE remake was awesome and graphically far superior to anything at the time. I have owned most consoles but my platinum gamecube is still my favorite. Hell it looked like a modern day LAN party pc. Extremely well built machine.

Well it is my favorite too. There was just something cool about it. It was quite powerful for the time and took a risk on mini disks which was supposed to be the future. It was a very well built piece of hardware especially in platinum.
Eh...time will tell who is last. Games and community make the difference not stats or lazy development ports to old systems.
Personally I prefer games like WW HD or Black Flag that make good use of the game pad for menus, options and such. Another bad port of a mediocre 3rd party game is not what I'm looking to buy.
Exactly. Having a great time with my recently built rig and Wii U. Great mature steam library on one, off TV play and cartoony old school fun on the other.

All this next gen talk is just a fantasy. These games are only aspiring to be the same as maxed out pc graphics. It's no magical, phenomenal leap. Yes 1080p has been the household standard for years now so it's sad to see game consoles who have standardized hardware still not achieve this level. Granted games like mario 3D World are lovely buy being 720p or 1080p probably would look no different. But really there isn...
And the Xbox community was a huge part of 360's success. I think they will start to catch up but they only have themselves to blame for all the mistakes of last year. They had the competitions stats laid out in front of them (unlike Nintendo) and yet they still blew it. They were arrogant and have hopefully learned their lesson for the sake of Xbox fans.
Wtf does "next gen" look like. Please explain. No pictures just define "next gen" graphics and what the qualifications are.

If you want great sales you don't just market your console to Americans with great internet. In the future I'm sure everything will be digital at a cheap rate and fast speed but we aren't ALL there yet.

I'm not a fan but I think between TF and twitch streaming they're going to build a new community quickly and start to turn things around. In 720p or not.

Had to Google him. He made games most people never heard of and worked for EA and MS after mergers. He made the Fable franchise, and apparently thinks Steam is a box with a touch screen controller. Meanwhile, in another article he calls one of his Fable games a train wreck. Pure genius.

PS4 sales were pretty weak in Japan considering months of hype and expectation. You can spin it any way you want. The sales over the next few weeks will be more telling when it's debut is over. It's largely a handheld market we all know that. Obviously on its launch week it made a splash. I doubt it continues for long. It's pretty expensive compared to a 3ds or a vita.
