It was fine in my opinion (the gameplay that is).
To me, L.A Noire was different. IT created a mature and adult narrative (that didn't always hit the marks), that embelished a very authentic cinematic flair (mostly to do with the mo-cap)
The 40's LA created a beautiful atmosphere, and there were definitely some certain setpieces (like hunting for that cerial killer at the church, or the final mission at the creepy farm house) that created an incredible hau...
L.A Noire gets to much hate. Many games don't get it COMPLETELY right on there first go (assassins creed 1, uncharted 1) yet they tend to get a free-er pass than L.A Noire.
L.a NOire had flaws, but it was still one of the most innovative games of 2011.
please don't play with my heart and tell me this is true!!!!!!!!!
u jelly ;)
People hear next gen, they go "ooh, ooh, xbox 720, and ps4.
When the more generic possibility is Vita, and Wii U
Why? The south park rpg was truly out of left field. They said, it'd be surprising and no one would see it coming. No one did.
Us Gamers were going wild with the obvious fantasies of FF VII HD, or Half Life 3.
Not GI>
Yeah it's really good. I'm not saying it'll be your goty (it might be though who knows), but it's a really interesting game that should be played.
My Top 6
1. L.A Noire
2. Bullet Storm
3. Catherine
4. Shadows of the Damned
5. Rage
6. El Shaddai

I see. Well, that sucks you don't like Uncharted. But I know millions of fans who do. While Uncharted might not be your "cup of tea", it's still one of the best series this generation.
Naughty Dog has never made a bad game over there 9+ outings. They might not be your cup of tea, but there still damn good games. So personally, I'll believe that Naughty Dog will deliver without hearing a ounce of news or gameplay footage....
We don't need to hear anything about the game.
It's Naughty Dog. After Crash, Jak, and Uncharted we have 100% faith in them.
Call it blind passion, but they haven't let us down since 1997, so I don't see why they would start now.
I really don't see how this game is being overhyped. There has been one trailer, and one "preview for the press" that has brought us all these articles.
Though with that said, I still think people have the right to be hyped or even overhyped. It's a new naughty dog game that looks a hulleva interesting. Why shouldn't we be hyped to the moon about it?

Kojima you giant cock tease you.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but it's a new ip (meaning it's a whole new property that isn't a spinoff, prequel or sequel.)
That was just a "wild guess" by one of there composers.

I'm guessing 2013/2014 release date?
Do they have a R rating for films? If so, then it seems like they still treat video games like toys.
Bioshock Infinte
GTA V
The Last Guardian
The Last of Us
Mass Effect 3
Everything else is icing on the cake. Gotta be honest, 2012 is looking real nice so far.
Here's my suggestions;
-Push the cinematic aspect even further; Create better facial reactions, create better animations, better cut scene editing. Make a cinematic game, into a ULTRA cinematic game.
-Invite more exploration. To much of the game is linear, and would love to see more of a open hub setting.
-Add more variation: Watching National Treasure gave me thoughts of Uncharted. Instead of gunning, and exploring, or doing puzzles al...
