Is it just me or does it seem we've been getting a hullva alot of gaming announcements lately (South Park RPG, new Square RPG, this new square rpg, new sony ip The Last of Us, , Brandon MacNamara's new project Whore of the Orient, etc...)
For a gen that's ending soon there's alot of studios working on new ips and projects. Kinda rare if you ask me..
How do you get crash bandicoot when it's clear this game is something horror like
Until Dawn has been rumored for years. We even saw it in the ps move montage, and the director said they were working on the game as well...
Look at the pics; https://forums.playfire.com...
Sounds like Until Dawn if you ask me
My heart tells me this will be announced at the VGA's with a 2012/2013 Release Date...
My brain tells me this won't happen and yet again Gabe will deny the exsistance of the game completely.
This game sounds like it has the potential to be AMAZING
Why THQ is simply the publisher...all they do is distribute the game to stores :/ It's not like they have there studios make the game as well..
Well they are working on multiple projects..I believe they have 2 more projects underwraps currently.
Sarcasm aside, I do think that if Obsidian does justice with the game, then for southpark fans it very well might be in there top 5.
I'm just glad it's not generic shooter 100.
Why has Obsidian all of sudden lost credit? Sure they don't have the best reputation in the world, but New Vegas was incredible (sure there were bugs), but the writing and the overall game was just leagues beyond of Fallout 3. Obsidian can definitly make good games...and I think SouthPark might be the game that puts them over the edge.
I gotta be honest, game informer for once ACTUALLY surpised me. I was literally wtf.
Southpark is a great untapped franchise, and the potential is over the roof. Of course it's all about excution, and obsidian is hopefully capable of creating a awesome unique rpg.
That review seems better suited for a metacritic user review, than a website review, because honestly, that made 0 sense. He/She is contradicting themselves left and right.
Don't see why Versus XIII should matter. Square is pretty huge, they can have multiple dev teams.
This article is dumb...
1. It's late in the generation. The general rule is to release your big new ip's in the beginning, and conclude the trilogy by the end of the gen.
2. While there may be alot of sequels there are alot of interesting new ip's that were released this year like L.A Noire, Rage, Shadows of the Damned, El Shaddai, Child of Eden, Dark Souls (yes it's technically a new ip), Dead Island, etc...But of course he just skims over th...
Nier was probably the best square game of this gereration...that soundtrack alone is godly
Well it's a bit different making new ip's. It's one thing to make games for your franchises, it's another to make 2-3 completely new franchises (which says that Square is still adventurous on taking risk).
Looks interesting. I know it's just artwork, but it seems to LOOK 10x better than the shit they've been calling games recently. 2013 release I'm guessing?
Batman Arkham City!
I'm going to settle it being God of War 4. It was rumored for a quite a while, plus retailers keep listing it at Fall 2012. Makes sense imo...
Well Jeff Kneighly is hyping this game up to the stratosphere. I get it, he's the host and he should hype it, but it sounds like it's more than your average new ip.
Kneighly said this was an amazing and surprising announcement. Well it would be surprising if Kojima is working on this, but isn't he busy with assistance on MGS: Rising, Lord of Shadows 2, and his new ip Project Ogre?
So I personally don't see Kojima on this.
But Sony Sant...
