They were massive disappointments compared to what I believe was the most complete gaming experience available this gen, Halo 3. Incredible multi-player, captivating sandbox campaign, intuitive forge mode, introduced us to theater mode, it still gives you so many more customization options in comparison to all other console base games. No, the way to fix that is to take a leaf out of Red Orchestra's book and limiting the number of classes in a squad
E.g. Max 1 sniper, 2 Assault, 2 Engineer, 1 support.
