Weird I loved the original AC, but got bored to death of AC2. Picked up Brotherhood and hated it, but bought Revalations and loved the return to the middle eastern (well Constantinople) setting. I was also very disappointed in AC3 though The DLC had looked cool, but after seeing it is being release in episodes, no thank you.

All those games you just listed (with maybe the exception of Half Life 2) are so beginner friendly. If you came across someone who knew what they were doing in Halo 3 as a beginner you had no chance. It was glorious. One of the last true games where you could win based on skill. Also it had one of the best ranking systems in modern online gaming. Skilful players level up, losers drop levels, none of this lame levelling up for time put into the game nonsense we have now.
I wouldn't know, I haven't played since the first. I still love BF3 though. Yet the BFBC2 is superior.

I;m afraid I don't agree. While the games was incredible for the first few hours, it soon became very repetitive and disappointing. Also the multiplayer felt very tacked on and due to this, the impressive map creator was made redundant. Finally the co-op was truly awful and took away all the things which originally made the singleplayer so great. Overall I would have given it a 7.5 out of 10

It's seems like this author has never played an earlier COD that 4. If he had he would realise you have full control of tanks in some levels from those games, even the original I believe. But damn the COD franchise has taken a big step backwards.

I'm dying to play a ww2 game on frostbite 3.0. But it's time to remove mcoms from rush, replace them with dynamic objectives, e.g flak cannons or other anti air. Put high emphasis on airborne campaigns e.g allies start (or even throughout) parachute in while axis defend, mix in some Russian and British levels too. In terms of customisation, it'll be very limited compare to bf3 but I'd rather teams be forced to stick to historically accurate guns for their side (U.S, British, R...
well, they killed custom games, there was a glaring lack of variables (some of which were also absent from reach).
They still have no browser for forge maps or custom games, Forge it self was a let down. Also there was too much randomness in competitive multiplayer, namely ordinance. Oh and the fact that now vehicles are incredibly weak, Spawn with plasmas? ridiculous and the DMR and the Battle rifle are far too effective vs all vehicles.
Im still guaranteed it will release in May 2013. Simply follows the pattern of previous major R* games.
