NB, a definate improvement but the PS2 version played on PCSX2 still looks better.
Next gen more popular to core gamers than current gen? wow who would have thought. Ninty must have psychics working for them or something.
Lets see if its still as popular when the PS4 & Nextbox release.
Or better yet, lets be like Nintendo and compare it to the PS5 & Xbox 1080.
@Jazz4108: Gotta love fanboys for M$. Its easy to simply make up your own facts rather than learning the real ones isn't it?
Blu-Ray's bit rate isn't messured the same as DVD's
A 2x Blu-Ray which is whats in the PS3 runs at a constant rate of 9mb/sec, The 12x in the 360 varies between 6mb/sec and 12mb/sec, 5th grade math starts here, min+max divided by 2 = 9mb/sec
Both the PS3's Blu-Ray drive and the 360's DVD drive operate at the same ...
1: A forwarning does not exempt them from federal law.
Legally it can only apply to an item sold after the date of modification. Once the item is sold, it legally becomes the property of the purchaser and any modification made without formal consent of the purchaser is considers unauthorized access and destruction of property.
2: Alot of people seem to misunderstand the purpose of a ToS, All a ToS is for is making known any pre existing legal rights a company has to t...
This completely not. Federal law is very clear on the matter.
Unless sold illegally through a third party, Once someone pays real money for an item, virtual or not, regardless of a companies TOS, it is legally considered the sole property of the purchaser. Anyone who purchased any of these nerfed items is now not only entitled to sue over it but can also press charges for destruction of property.
This would be along the same lines as a company selling a digit...
The original article a couple months back said he was suing over the idea of a device that allows a person to delve into ancestral (Genetic) memories.
Is he changing his story now as damage control or did whoever wrote the original article screw up? If the original story was a screw up then its unfortunate he had to go through all the hate over it. But you can't really blame people for basing their response off the given information.
Unfortunately for Mr. Beiswenger, The problem with this case has nothing to do with a persons right to defend their intellectual property, but rather the fact that he possesses no such property to begin with. He is suing over something he has no rights to.
One of two things is going on here, Either
A: He is assuming that just by writing a book a person automatically acquires trademark rights to it. Which is incorrect.

Too many people mistake gaming accessories for nerf footballs. Throwing controllers across the room and then getting pissed at the company that made it as if its their fault. I have been using Mad Catz products for over 12 years and never once had a problem with any of them. I currently have 2 Mad Catz micro controllers for the gamecube, 1 for the PS2 and 1 for PC that i got about 8 years ago and they all still work perfectly.
Order of importance IMO.

Its not just about IP theft, I have an Acekard 2i but i have never downloaded any games that i didn't own the originals for and i don't plan on it. Flash carts are great to have for 2 reasons, backups and accessibility, both of which are legal. I'd rather carry around 1 cart than 20+
I also have CFW on my PSP which allows me to backup all my own PSP games using a program called Filer. It also happens to allow me to backup my retro collection and play them on the ...
@Lilioups: Thanks for the input but i never said cheap. I said cheesy and cliche. Also sales mean F'all.
Nobody knows what a game will be like til after they have bought and played it. All sales determine is pre-expectations not quality of product. FFX sold well because Squares rep up til that point was good. By the time XII came out, alot of people had already given up on squareenix becuase of the joke called X-2.
As for XII's plot, most people were ...

The Datasoft La Stick for the Atari 2600 was the first motion controller. Sony also had motion tech before Nintendo.

Probably get alot of hate for this but i have to say it.
FFX was nearly as linear as XIII, Was by far the most repetitive of all the FF games. Had one of the most cliche story's and half the characters were cheese puffs. FFXII was a vastly superior game in every way.
Edit: Forgot to add, as stated above. FFX already had a sequel, it was called FFX-2 and it sucked monkey balls even worse than X.
FFXII was my favorite PS2 FF also.
From what i have seen there are 3 main reasons why alot of people didn't like it.
1: Political nature of the story
2: Didn't like the combat system at first sight and gave up on the game after less than a couple hours.
3: Lacked the intelligence to figure out the Gambit system, blamed the entire game for their own stupidity.
@Fel08:
Neither was Nintendo.
The first portable gaming system was the Milton Bradley Microvision in 1979.

The PS3 is vastly superior as a media center, It provides all of the same online media services as the 360 without the additional costs (XBL Gold), it provides full local media functionality while the 360 is stuck streaming from a PC. The PS3 also allows for media center streaming including from 3rd party streaming programs which are much faster and more consistant than windows media center. The PS3 supports many times more video and audio formats than the 360 and it also has true lossless 24...
