That doesn't mean they like the show though. The word Ouroboros didn't originate with that show.
How so?

@Ravenor Neither of those were meant to be Diablo. Different styles of games can come out of a single company you know. D3 isn't really a bad game in general, its just not Diablo. Look at the path of exile vid i linked a couple posts up and see what D3 should have been.
The cow lvl wasn't exactly serious but it was dark in nature, not this colorful happy time crap with smiling clouds. Also it is not just the easter egg lvl that is the problem, the bright cartoony WoW art style is throughout the entire game. I was simply using this lvl as an example.
This is a good example of what D3 should have looked like.

That is just the thing though, they aren't the creators. Same company does not equal same developers. All the devs from D1 & 2 have long since quit the company, $20 says none of the current devs have ever even played a Diablo game, if they had then they would never have insulted the franchise with this garbage.
9 year D2 vet and yes very serious. Diablo is suppose to be dark and serious in nature, if anything in the game can be laughed at then it shouldn't be in the game, easter egg or not. Even the colorful nature itself carries over into the normal game which proves its not just the easter egg that is off. None of the devs from D1 and D2 are even working for bliz anymore and it is plainly evident. Blizzard doesn't know what Diablo is anymore. they are just leeching off the name with this c...
Just goes to show Blizzards change in ways and complete disregard for what diablo is suppose to be. D2's hidden level was a bunch of evil bipedal cows with giant axes, Now D3 is barbies horse adventures a la rainbows and clouds with happy faces. It looks like one of those low budget facebook games designed for 8yo's. Disgraceful.
This doesn't necessarily mean that Orbis wont have anti used game tech. Tretton is the CEO of SCEA not sony in general and it is SCEJ that designs the playstation systems. Like he said in the article, Japan aka SCEJ may still decide to go anti used.
@tentonsoftube: Unfortunately he has no say. Tretton is only in charge of north american distribution, not design. It will be up to SCEJ whether PS4/Orbis has anti used tech or not.
Sorry but anything considered a common word, term or phrase cannot be trademarked. Zynga has no claim whatsoever.
The government should seize all of zynga's assets as proceeds of crime for even attempting such a frivolous suit, it is a waste of court time and its long overdue an example is set so companies know not to keep trying crap like this.
FACK i was just about to post that...
WII WII (Joke but wouldn't care if they actually named it that)
Super Nintendo 2
Nintendo Revolution
Nintendo Touch (based on controller)
N65... hmm
@spunalc0rd: you have just reiterated my point exactly, people too lazy to figure things out for themselves, rather have the game play itself. Big leap backwards in freedom of character design because of it.
The game won't magically appear at your doorstep on release day though, that is what he is pointing out. Amazon won't ship it til release day which means you will have to wait probably atleast 4-6 days AFTER release before actually getting the game. Better to pre-order locally.
That's exactly the problem, people buying it based off the diablo name alone. I feel sorry for all the people wasting their money on this crap game. So many people are going to be sorely disappointed when they start playing it.
I am a 9 year vet of D2 and was part of the D3 closed beta and there is no comparison, it is like a completely different (and completely generic) game compared to D2.
No manual stats, a severely dumbed down skill system designed fo...
Free in the Canadian PS Store also.
Sephiroth: Aka, pathetic emo with mommy issues who come end game was dropped with a single attack.
Damn i was so exited for coded arms: assault.
Wanted to just stick my head out a window and cry when i heard it was canned.
Dungeon lords 2: orb and the oracle was another one i was looking forward to. Rumors around recently that they have started development on a remake of the first one though.
I can beat MGS1 in a little over 4 hours.
I remember a game for the SNES called Revolution X, (Crap game) but regardless, it took about 15mins to beat that. Most fighting games take less then 20mins to beat. The first couple mortal kombat games for the SNES take me about 5mins a piece lol.
90% of games for the NES/SNES took less than 2 hours to beat, Excluding RPG's.
The average cost of a AAA game in 1991 when the SNES came out was $80. In todays money that works out to around $126. New games now cost $60. Since last gen games have gone up about $10 but long term the cost of gaming has gone way down.
What about PiiNES?
Just make a CE with an AA-12 shotgun, a pack of dragon breaths, a pack of XREP shock rounds and a pack of LN2 filled rounds. Would fit the game perfectly and be well worth the $150.
