I think what he was getting at is the overwhelming amount of Japanese cars in comparison to other nations. It's a bit unbalanced and was mentioned in a few professional reviews as well.
Also the lack of Porsche and a few other popular cars are not there because EA and some other companies have exclusive rights to certain car manufacturers.
Good luck Ubisoft.
I love Forza but I'm not going to get an Xbox. Gran Turismo is great but it really needs a User Interface redesign.
Competition is always welcome, especially when almost every game is a FPS. Great move by Ubisoft as the last thing I would call the racing genre this gen is crowded (or an other non FPS genre for that matter).
AM I THE ONLY PERSON WHO THINKS THAT THEY HAVE THE SOLUTION!!!
Ok so game companies don't like their games being sold used...On the other hand I don't like that I can't put my game on a friends console. And Microsoft wants to charge full retail.
So what about letting people play games on consoles that are part of my FRIENDS LIST. I mean what are the chances of someone buying used from Gamestop and being on my friends list...slim to none. Problem s...
@zhipp
I pretty much assumed the video was a fake but it's so funny because it's so true for so many companies out there. Tracking us and selling our info.
Constant Internet connection, Facial recognition, always on CAMERA and MIC. HELL NO. I refuse to have a camera and mic that is always on and watching/listening to me. Would just love to bring in a GF/wife into the bedroom with this camera pointed right at my bed (sarcasm).

There isn't a corporation out there that doesn't sell out privacy for cash. I also recall...
I don't think it's much of an improvement. GT6 is most likely going to be a lot of the standard cars converted to premium cars and a few more tracks.
I'm not going into the whole GT vs Forza. While from a pure gameplay, realism and graphics standpoint each person has their own preference. That being said I think going forward next gen GT7 really needs to redesign the User Interface. I honestly believe that the Forza UI and customizations was more pleasing to the ...
I got to say the PS3 version looks better than when I put my FFX PS2 disc in my beast of a gaming PC and emulate it. That's pretty good considering with the PCSX2 I can make it look far better and run at a higher resolution than the developers at the time ever thought possible.
One downside though...The colors look more washed out and not as vivid on the PS3 as the PCSX2 version. Still better than the PS2 version though.
Oh and by the way the PCSX2 doesn&...
I saw someone insomnium2 say this "A 13yo is not old enough to be the one to blame for this."
Well when I was 13 I was already in High School...he was old enough.
Now if he had mental issues that's another story altogether.
The real problem is there is not a continuous flow of good games. There are a few good ones but most tend to be re-releases or too similar to console titles. The problem is that there are not really any AAA "only on the Vita" games worth while. People not really going to spend $250 to solely play games that are nearly identical to their console counterparts.
Gamers keep complaining of a lack of creativeness this gen has brought around and constant pushing of sequel ...
According to an article on cnet 4K hdtv's are not really necessary. The average person won't have a problem until the screen size approaches 77 inches with 1080p.
The reason they are pushing it is more for marketing their new OLED hdtv's. These HDTV's wont make it out until next year and may be credit card thin and even over 70 inches. The problem is that these HDTV's won't be affordable for the average consumer until the end of the PS4's life-cycl...
It's the lack of games. And also the fact that the games that have scored well aren't what I would call system sellers or are too similar to console games.
There are very few games above a 8 or 9 in most reviews. The games that have a good score happen to be found on other consoles like Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, Little Big Planet, and Plants Vs. Zombies or are very niche.
Above all the Vita needs its own games that set it apart from other conso...
Here's to hoping that the new films are more like the original Star Wars Trilogy films.
I think the perfect way to begin the new films is with Timothy Zahn's Star Wars novels "The Thrawn Trilogy". The Thrawn trilogy constantly ranks in the top 100 science fiction novels of all time lists.
I'm curious. Do they add games like Super Mario Bros. 3, Golden sun, and many other classics to get their 95%? Games that were released 2-3 console generations ago and now are mostly only playable on emulators.
I hope it just became FFXV, like the rumor that was released in May revealing that Versus may be multi-platform for the Wii U and PS3. If not then someone needs to start firing some people and replacing them with talent.
here is the link to the Wii U multiplat and re-branding rumor

+ It will keep the price down
+ There is a pretty big market that doesn't like paying for DLC
+ For user content often a cheaper external hard-drive or thumb-drive is good enough(and cheaper)
+ Unlike the X360 the PS3's hard-drive can be replaced by the user with any 3rd party design if they wish (if the user knows how to shop around = cheaper).
- The only issue with this hard-drive size are game installs. Many games like Metal Gear Solid have...
JRPG's are like everyone's favorite novels. They have gripping stories and characters. Every time I play one like Golden Sun 1 & 2 or Final Fantasy the story just draws me in.
I honestly don't care about the lack of options in the story which WRPG's have, just like I don't care that my favorite novel "The Game of Thrones" doesn't have the option: To save Winterfell turn to page 67, to destroy it turn to page 133.
I have to disagree. I believe that having a HD 7970 is more than enough power. Going more high tech isn't really necessary as there seems to be diminishing returns.
For example I have a Nvidia GT 240 (card old as dirt) that runs Skyrim just fine at 35 fps at mid spec. I have recently replaced it with a HD 6850 and now run the game maxed out. Unfortunately there is little I can say that has improved except maybe the puffs of smoke look a little better. Same story with Due...
Perhaps I should have worded it differently and you make a good point, Sony does have portable exclusives. What I am trying to say is that of the games that have been announced so far none of them are "likely" to be system sellers like what Halo was for the Xbox, or what Pokemon was for the Gameboy Color.
I can only hope that E3 in June will remedy this problem.
I couldn't agree more with your list. Not much to add. FFXIII had everything going for it as far as art style is concerned, it just.....well your list says most of it.
I felt like XIII was FFX gone way wrong. FFX was amazing but was just as linear. It had so many things that hid it's linear nature though. Great storytelling, music, very likeable characters, character development.
I felt the best game to use as a template for the future is FF XII. Whil...
