16 bit snes graphics hold up much better than rudimentary 3d graphics so I disagree
I'd be all for a Parasite Eve HD Remaster collection immediately
I can't open it either
yeah, those games certainly need it, but for most action games, if they were to run at 30 fps I would never feel like I were getting a severely gimped experience. An excellent example would be the God of War series. Both the God of War Collection and God of War Origins collection run at a locked 60 fps, but God of War 3 and Ascension run at 30 fps. Ascension was a cash grab, but God of War 3, even in its 30 fps glory compared to the previous entries is still one of the best entries in the fra...
the only 2 genres that ABSOLUTELY NEED 60 fps are racing games and fighting games. Racing games using the 60 fps in order to replicate speed and fighting games using the 60 fps because they're all about timing and frame cancels and all that stuff.
his point is that the franchise started off as a Nintendo exclusive..
well at least they're being honest
FEAR was never scary. I never got scared playing it. Its sequel was scarier, but even then, still not much of a horror game and F3Ar(FEAR 3), the one on the list; that's the least scary of the franchise
This article was stupid. It lists mostly WHOLE franchises in one spot(like Tekken and GTA) while only picking one specific entry for Dota2 and Skyrim because those are the only ones mainstream gamers have heard of. All in all, a terrible and inconsistent list
That's because the previews weren't what the actual final build of the game ended up being. They straight up lied and showed off a version of the game that was better than the final product and in very short chunks of game at events, how could one tell immediately that it was shit? There have been plenty of negative previews for games. Hell, I even read a VERY negative preview for this game on some publication and the story was posted on N4G so don't get carried away with your ass...
not only are most of those not scary. They're not even in the survival horror genre at all.
Leave it to polygon to have a stupid article.
the MGS series while serious has always had it's quirky humor and it is still there in MGS 5 same as it has always been there in the previous entries like the ability to lure guards with a porn magazine(they'll sit there and jerk off). This humor is no different than what has existed in the series before. Some people need to accept that it comes with the territory of being Metal Gear Solid
Heavenly Sword IS getting a sequel. Hellblade is the sequel.
it's because hair is the most difficult thing to render in a video game
it's way more than a few months. Try 6 months(half a year)
no one saw that coming, especially not after they said the pc version would have 4k support
IT'S AN ADD-ON. NOT A FULL RETAIL RELEASE AT $40. ARE YOU UNEDUCATED
I can't believe people are getting disagrees for stating the graphics are bad. Sorry a game you're looking forward to is visually unimpressive? Maybe it'll be a great game, but that doesn't change the fact that the graphics are very unremarkable for next gen.
Pretty much any video game horror will be scarier than a horror movie. It's just the nature of the medium. Passively watching a film has never scared me, but plenty of games have turned me into 3 year old girls.
