I really liked Heavy Rain. Beyond was a disappointment and a step back from Heavy Rain in almost every aspect except the voice acting and visuals. I'm excited to see what his ps4 project will be.
They're already talking about expansions? *sigh*
*sigh*
He's talking about the DLC which was included in last light. It was half a dozen or so isolated missions from different perspectives. One of these DLC missions was an open world approach to Metro. It was very good. One of my favorite pieces of downloadable content for any game.
I bought it and did a review of it on a website which persuaded one of my friends to get it too
If you zoom in, you'll immediately be able to tell the one on the right is the definitive edition. It looks sharper and texturing on the hair net and collar are more detailed.
My logic is not to remaster the whole gen, sir. My logic is to remaster the absolute best games and the slightly more underrated games that received critical attention, but maybe never sold too well the first time around. Mass Effext remastered trilogy would be an example of in my opinion one of the best franchises of the last gen so I'd hop on that train. An example of a critically acclaimed game that never sold too well in the first place would be Grim Fandago, which I am definitely get...
I'm enjoying these remasters. They're great for people that never played the originals. I never played the Tomb Raider reboot last gen, so I bought the definitive edition on ps4 and it is a damn beautiful looking game. It just wouldn't have been quite the same experience if I had played it on last gen. I'd much rather these remasters. I played through all 3 Mass Effect games, but I'll be damned if I say I don't want a remastered trilogy. I would be so in love with the ...
Then how do you get behind generic western games???? The allure of jrpg's for me despite their obvious faults and quirks is that they're such a wonderful break from the onslaught of western shooters and action games and yearly franchises we all get in North America and Europe. It's nice to play something different that doesn't have as much exposure to the point it isn't oversaturating the market, making jrpg's feel much more special. If jrpg's were as common here a...
Tomb Raider's TressFX says hi
resolution is extremely important at being able to spot enemies and obstacles at a longer distance, making it a smoother play experience. You don't need to wonder How close you are to hitting that blob 1/4 of the way through the map. In online shooters, resolution is pertinent to leveling the playing field and making sure all details at distances are resolved enough so that the only factor coming between life and death is skill; not the game's inability to render a distant enemy at a ...
THEY'RE BACK!
Also, that whole "surprise" didn't surprise me. I could tell right away those were video game graphics because I'm not blind
how is it the best in the series when it isn't out yet and is still so early in development that whether it'll remain first person like PT or be third person STILL hasn't been pinpointed and zero ACTUAL gameplay from it has been shown?
You ever thought maybe he legitimately doesn't like the game? Because god forbid someone dislikes a game.
It's not an immersive story by ANY means at all. You know what's an immersive story? Bioshock? You know what's an immersive story? Mass Effect? You know what's immersive? The Last of Us. You know what's the complete opposite of immersive? Bayonetta. It's an amazing game, but calling it an immersive story is like saying the original playstation incarnation of Resident Evil has an immersive story with that cheesy voice acting.
Immersive story??? Ha
Ha
Ha
I loved Bayonetta. It's a very very good action game, but an immersive story? Man, I guess if you're the kind of person that sticks to Nintendo only systems, this is better story than any first party Nintendo game, but immersive? What is this reviewer smoking? It has charm. It's funny and some of the characters have real personality, but immersive??? HA
YESS! I played a demo of it on my pc, but of course mine was crap and could only run it at around medium settings with some low options, so I can finally play it now. I'm excited
One is an action game. Another is a stealth game. I don't know what you've been smoking
People that don't like Halo at all?
It IS overhype because this goddamn next gen system can't even notify you when friends get online or offline. Such B.S. when the PS3 has had that for as long as I can remember and the Vita has had that since Day 1. It's a load crap that they still have not thought to fix this crap.
