If you want surprises, stay off N4G. Dust looked pretty damn good though, that game surprised me. Also, PSV now has a price, $249 is not bad for what you're getting.
It very well could be. The only one who might have something to say about that is Nintendo though. Gears isn't a casual game, and casual games sell the best. 1 new game for Wii is all it takes.
Sony's contender will be Uncharted 3. The series has built quite a following, but still not enough to topple Gears.
Not so true DaTruth. Once the building blocks for new tech are in place it becomes easier and easier down the road. Great games can be made in 2-3 years, but I think that's the minimum.
Yup, "winning"! You gotta love competition, it brings out the best in companies. I strongly believe Project Cafe (Wii 2) is a result of this. If there were no pressure on Nintendo to step up its game, they never would have. Same goes for Sony and MS, I love how every year they try to outdo each other.

Really though, can you blame this site for the garbage article header? I never heard of randomprodinc.com, they have to find some way to draw hits. The points they make doesn't seem to translate to the score they gave. Seems like it should have been a 3/5 from the review. I may pick this up at the bargain bin at some point and try it for myself.

@ Black-Helghast, it's not that people don't want or wouldn't use x-game chat. It's the fact that for the past 4 years people have been whining for it in every update thread across the internet and it's tiresome.
