Being a PS3 only owner right now I wouldn't know, but it does look fun. Definitely picking up when the PS3 version comes out.
Between the Move, Kinect and standard controller, this seems to be a game that can offer 3 totally unique experiences.

No its not lame. ND and Sony don't just bankroll the money they make. It goes towards paying their employees, production costs, marketing, new and better equipment, and future projects.
If a giant like EA shuts down servers after a year or two after a games release, that has to tell you how expensive dedicated servers are.
@misterhbk, I agree with you, the beta doesn't really interest me much. Tbh, I get into alot of betas but never play them. I even have a Resistance 3 code I probably won't use. I rather just buy that game when it releases like I know I will with Uncharted. With Uncharted, sp is more important to me than mp.
As far as sales go, U2 did what, 4.5-5 million? The series is only more popular now and has even found success with the casual players. I expect U3 to crush ...

There are 2 360 exclusives that would have been perfect for the Move, this game and Alan Wake. Missed opportunities by the devs.
I thought the demo sucked balls, but my son liked it. Its not really an adult game, which is where reviewing these types of games gets tricky.
I haven't played BP in a couple years, but its funny how I still remember every bit of the map like it was yesterday. Must have went around that map hundreds of times lol. Good times!

Why does Angry Birds have over 200m downloads?
1. Because its a fun casual game that's available on 90% of phones.
2. Because in most cases its a free download.
Probably a hardware/software game like DJ Hero. Not saying it will be music related, but I'm sure Madcatz will be pushing some type of hardware along with their game.
Bulletstorm uses a pass, so it's not only limited to sports games.
And if some of the BF fanboys around here are the typical BF player then who would drop COD for BF? Seems like you guys are quite upset that BF isn't as popular as COD. It's a shame because if you really wanted COD to fail and BF to rise above it you would embrace COD fans instead of insulting them.

F2P will be a marketing gimmick in the future. Basic online play will be free, but other features will only be accessible with paid subs. Many games have already done it, and many more will do it. MW3 is a good example with their Elite program.
It all depends on the publisher that is buying the devs. If it's Acti, that'd be bad. Acti will take a successful series and milk it dry. They also seem to allow little to no creativity. I'm on the fence with EA, while at times they milk their sports franchises and offer little improvement each year while shutting down servers of games people still play, devs do seem to like them which says something. Sony seems to me the best though. They encourage creativity and always try...
