"I hope alot of VITAS sell so more developers make new games."
And better quality games, not half assed quick cash in attempts.
"Disagreers are usually Americans"
Wow! What a load of BS! Please take your xenophobia somewhere else. You should be ashamed of yourself, really ignorant statement and it speaks loads of the type of person you are.
Voted down for immature.
"Seriously these details are a little worrying..."
It's rumors, nothing more.
No internet though. But yeah, without social interaction you'd probably start going nuts and start talking to the video game characters like they were real lol.
I'd definitely have to pick something dynamic that would change each time played, like a puzzle game. I couldn't play the same scripted game over and over. Or you could cheat and pick a game collection, get multiple games on the same disc :)
Thats the problem, how do grown men/women review something that's meant for a child? It would be better if they got a group of kids together (sons, daughters, nieces, nephews, etc) and review the kids' experience with it.
A lot of Vita bundles for $199. The "It's too expensive" excuse isn't valid anymore.
@ Logic, it's all a matter of perspective. There was:
KZ2
Resistance 3
Socom 4
Sports Champions
Tiger Woods 12
Sorcery
The Fight Lights Out (old but I still play it occasionally)
etc, etc, etc
People say Move didn't get support, but that simply isn't true. It's always had support, the question is whether or not the supported games appealed to you.
This is the direction all game publishers are taking. Just on tv right now games with live action ads are BO2, Halo 4 and Dishonored.
"Single player on the other hand is weak. But that is to be expected."
No, this is MOH, that's not what is expected from a MOH game. I did enjoy the single player, but it was short, filled with bugs, poor AI, etc, etc, etc.
The game did not live up to the names MOH or Tier-1, EA should be ashamed.
I'll try to break my point down further, maybe I did a bad job of that.
Many people put their trust in the gaming media for reviews of games, peripherals, etc. We want to know if these thing are worth spending our money on or not. We rely on UNBIASED reviews, correct? This is especially important when talking about a game as opposed to a new peripheral. Peripherals can be reviewed on sound quality, durability, weight, etc, all factual things.

Calm down kid, don't you know how to have civil discussions? I did read the article, but my opinion stays the same. There's a saying, "free food always tastes better." This saying fits reviewers perfectly.
Lets take MOH:W for example. I got a free Redbox rental for it. I really enjoyed it, and am glad I played it. However, if I didn't have a free rental and had to pay, or worse, buy the game, my outlook on it would have been totally different.

I'm pretty sure they don't turn down any review copies or event tickets, or the swag that comes with these. Accepting such things kinda makes this article a bit hypocritical. How can I trust a review from a site that gets a free copy of a game? Unless they spent their own $65 for the game how can they possibly tell me if it's worth my hard earned money?
This is why I take these sites' reviews with a grain of salt, and use Youtube user reviews as well as frien...
Netcode is different, only players with similar connections will be paired up.
"they don't give you any choices"
Haha, that is true. Try exploring an area and you might get greeted with a "you are leaving the player area" message and a quick death. Lets face it, almost every game is linear, but don't kill me for trying to find an alternate route or explore an area...jeez.
I have to agree. All the bad reviews actually prompted me to try it out. I Redboxed it with the free codes that were on here. It's definately not a bad game. The story and action were good. There were alot of CODesque moments where I shook my head, but it still felt somewhat original. There are some horrible things wrong with the game though. The friendly AI is next to useless, giving the Tier 1 name a bad name. Countless times I'd be waiting on my team to engage the next checkpoint ...
@Dark Witness, I wouldn't say a conspiracy, but I think reviewers are FINALLY standing up to all these vanilla COD copycats with no soul. EA withholding review copies might have been the straw that broke the camels back. Wayyyy too many 5/10s now to be coincidence. Honestly, it's about time. How many more modern military fps games do we need? Let COD be COD, but other devs shouldn't try to ride it's coattails. We had this same situation with WWII fps last gen, but this is past...
@ seanpitt23, maybe you're right but the difference is COD doesn't try to be something else, it is what it is. MOH is the game with no unique identity, not COD.
Same goes with Halo, Uncharted, Mario, etc. They are games that are pioneers in their own ways. They set standards for other games, they dont copy other games, all they have to do is improve on their winning formulas from one game to the next and it's enough to please critics and fans.

Thanks john2, that was an awesome article, one of the best reads in a long time. We all know the entertainment business is corrupt, and the video games portion is no different. We NEED guys like this to call journalists out, call console makers out. This industry has gotten out of hand.
Pc is next gen, yet can't even provide local mp....no thanks. Some of us have real world friends and family we can play games together with ONLY ON CONSOLES!
