This box stuff is ridiculous. How can an enemy be classed as having intelligent AI if it gets fooled by a picture on a cardboard box.
And enemies don't even see dead bodies being pulled up into the sky by a balloon? What the hell...
Tombraider missed Square Enix's sales targets when it was launched and that's when it was on 3 platforms. Only the remastered version helped them make some profit.
What were Square thinking when they signed the exclusivity deal? Poor sales on 3 platforms...even poorer on One...
I'd hate to see a good franchise end because of this.
still no Shadow of the Beast? Very disappointed.
@ trunkswd
Exactly. A campaign would have given us a storyline and background into what all of it is about. Without playing through a story mode, the multiplayer matches feel empty and do not immerse you into the TF world.
@ Kayant
I posted the article to get the game back in the news or to force Sony to release some info. Thanks for putting any hope of that to bed. >:(
Let's hope Sony can clarify the issue soon.
Murdoch owns a tv empire so it is in his interest to put gaming in a bad light. After all gaming means watching less tv which would cause a loss in profits for the tv broadcasters.
"...there will be “plenty” more cars and tracks coming after release..."
Will the cars/tracks be free though?
@ ChickyCantor,
If Modern CPU's could match GPU's then why do the cpu tests in 3Dmark run like sh*t?
Since XB1 will already be optimized with this king of technology I'm assuming MS will have gained alot of knowledge of Mantle to use in DX12.
If DX12 can match mantle or surpass it then it's a win for consumers thanks to AMD.
Going exclusive was Titanfall's main downfall. They alienated more than half of the potential user base.
I played it during the free weekend on PC and it was ok except I didn't like the inclusion of the AI enemies. No fun when you don't know who you are actually shooting most of the time. Also no real sense of achievement. Needs a single player campaign too.
Are souls big sellers? :p
Anyone got a link to sales numbers for the previous games?
Not very exciting was it. All the new stuff was dodgy looking CGI that seems to be made by the same studio judging by the character animations and colors schemes.
Overall disappointing. They didn't even show Halo 5.
I assume FH will be 60fps if its using the Forza5 engine. One up on DC.
Nothing to stop them programming for kinect. The kinect has not been discontinued, they still sell it alone or in a bundle.
what if project beast is sotb..?
I can't imagine what kind of system was used to show the E3 2012 version. My i7 stutters and hangs around the 40-50 fps range with a Radeon 7950. A very badly optimized game especially when the console versions run without any stutter.
I'm sure the coding would have been the same or similar for projector and headlights..maybe it slows down everything when lots of shadows from headlights were processed.
Did they start giving suppositories with the game?
Those gifs make it look like its 60fps which is what I prefer. The actual direct feed videos don't look anywhere near as smooth sadly.
