Considering the current Fiji core is almost as efficient as a Maxwell core with full DX12 hardware support built into the chip I think you'll be surprised who will be more efficient when the next gen comes out.
Did you know the Nvidia Maxwell chips run cooler due to missing hardware support for some DX12 features? What do you think will happen when they finally put the needed hardware in the chip?
so old Xbox one will be slower than this new version? Might piss of the early adopters unless there is some sort of upgrade deal.
Modern day setting means it will not have the atmosphere of any of the AC games. Are we now going to have the assassin fight with machine guns, etc? Boring...
Needed to be set in the middle ages like the original AC to get my interest.
Depends on whether the gpu in the consoles can do adaptive sync. If it could then fairly straight forward for AMD to enable it and the end user only has to buy a freesync monitor or tv.
I suspect it won't though since the gpu is based on the older GCN 1.0 cores which doesn't support Freesync for pc gpu's.
Lazy devs. To increase resolution doesn't take any work at all. The PS4/Xboxone are essentially PC's and all the devs would have done is 'port' the PC version over that ran at 60fps on my old AMD 5870 which is slower than the PS4 gpu.
No idea why they couldn't get the game running at 60 fps when all they did was set the resolution option to 1080P...
The game doesn't look half as taxing as Witcher 3 yet that runs ok on a PS4. This is probably just a rumour. Why would they have problems running this game when there are much more demanding games coming out on PS4.
Unless there is a story mode it's not going to be as engrossing as it could be.
They can't do s**t if you pirate Windows 10 ;)
Battlefield 3 and 4 had single player modes.
Single player makes it more interesting. You get a story and the reason behind why you are fighting.
Look at Titanfall, no lore or story so feels kind of aimless.
What happens when the game is 2-3 years old? Do the servers stop computing for an old game thus effectively rending it useless?
Also it will of course be unplayable when your connection does go down sometimes like it does for any other online game..
I made a positive comment for the game and an xbox fanboy is still not happy...what a joker.
So they managed to match Driveclub visuals and achieve 60fps. Good stuff.
tunnel lighting on ceiling missing in PCars. Overall lighting looks better in F1.
Lets hope in the final game the grass is not invincible and does dissappear after an explosion.
Thank Gameworks for this.
They must think people are gullible if they think they will get funding after selling millions of copies of the first game.
Pirate away guys ;) Certainly not worth rewarding devs for gimping one brand of hardware.

12M sold yet only about 200K players across all platforms. Surely you'd expect more than 2% of the total playing the game ...
