So far UE4 games all seem to be poorly optimized or simply can't run at good fps on anything older than a gtx 980ti. Pretty poor results imho.
275W for the Fury/X and 175W for the Fury Nano according to official specs
you can sell a physical copy after finishing it at least. They are trying to do what MS tried to do at launch with their no used games policy.
The Fury cards are all new using HBM and faster than 980ti/TitanX so the word you heard is totally wrong. Some of the cards are rebrands but not the Fury range.
I wonder if they'll announce forza 6 for pc during the pc gaming conference today?
Ideally a game should have the same effects available on any platform but sadly companies like Nvidia like to make things proprietary.
The big question is why couldn't the devs simply add the option to turn physx features off like the old days?
They should have made cow wraiths which rise from the dead cows bodies.
The Zen architecture next year should be on par with the Haswell cores in IPC at least. The new Fiji chip will show where AMD is going in a few weeks time.
There are some vids with action on the nexus mods site. The OP just chose the most boring video here.
What? Do magical worlds only have white people in it?
Why is the PS4 unlocked? Wouldn't locking it to 30fps like the X1 version improve the motion?
There are never finalized drivers since there are always games that will have some issues. If you mean WHQL certified then I expect they will have one when the 300 series launches.
Yes they nerfed their own cards and the only reason people found out is because older AMD cards are actually getting better fps than the 780ti and Titan Z.
Without the AMD benchmarks Nvidia would have simply ignored it and said the old cards are slower at tesselation.
All Nvidia have to do is make Hairworks open source like TressFX. This would allow more games to be developed with Hair physics, etc.
Unfortunately I can't think of any Nvidia tech that is open source.
This review is using screens from the original 2013 reveal. The release game doesn't look like that at all. Lazyness or are they trying to fool people.
Love it how the Nvidia fanboys are disagreeing with you. Talk about being blind.
It's an actual photo taken and posted on twitter.
The benchmarks show that even a top pc with a gtx 970 can't get past 45fps on ultra without Hairworks turned on. In effect a near top end pc is barely faster than a ps4 in this game, unless you have SLI/Crossfire cards.
It's only the Nvidia fanboys always going on about AMD drivers. I have a 7950 crossfire setup and the new leaked drivers give a huge 10-15% boost. Witcher 3 and Farcry 4 run at 60fps solid with Hairworks on.
