Fantastic ... another game to buy.
Games don't really cost that much. Bad games might cost a lot (because you'll always hate what you paid), good games cost just the right amount (or nothing compared to what you got out of it; i.e. 180 hours in Bad Company 2, I paid $40 for it). Remember, Nintendo and Super Nintendo games did cost almost the same, sometimes more, and there was a lot of shovelware back then too.
I could maybe see the evil Female Shepard wearing those clothes; she might use her looks to her advantage, but the Paragon wouldn't.
And you know what more ram means, right? More MMO's on consoles. Not sure if that's a good thing, unless they bring us some FREE TO PLAY MMO's; that might be fun to mess with.
Screw all that, MLSFXAA is where it's at. /s
And what makes this even worse than it is, is that he'll probably get out after only a few years. Being drunk is like a get out of jail free card or something ("I didn't mean to ...").
Well I went into Bad Company 2 on ps3 thinking it wouldn't be ANYTHING like on PC, and that it wouldn't be nearly as fun. I was wrong, these guys know their stuff. I will give them the benefit of the doubt (though I don't really have any doubt?) that the game will be great.
I don't care if they streamline maps and whatnot, just don't lose any of the fun aspects of the game.
I agree with the general consensus, this game doesn't need multiplayer. It's fine as a single player game, just bring us a good game, and I'll be happy. Bring us a better game than the first, and I'll be VERY happy.
Darksiders gets a bad rap sometimes, because people say it copies too much from other games. Well, there were a lot of games that came out when Darksiders was released, but guess what? I enjoyed this the most, regardless of how much it "stole&...
"...if it wasn't for one important FACT: Modern Warfare is a good shooter. Bad Company 2 isn't."
Stopped reading right there.
I always like reading about stuff like this. And boy did he deserve it, look at those pictures!
Yeah, most of what you said is dead on.
I posted this idea above: remove the scores for user reviews. Have the review and everything, but take the scores out of there. The people who come on metacritic and put 1 or 2 lines, and give a game a 10 or a 0 will NOT bother doing that if they can't give it a score. That way people can still read what others think, they just won't be able to affect their overall idea without having read some of the reviews.

I was thinking about this recently. What I think metacritic should do is remove the score from user reviews. Have the reviews, have all the crappy terrible reviews along with the nicely worded ones, but do NOT allow a user score. Only the critic scores should be counted. That way people can get a general consensus of how the game is by the critic scores, then read some of the user reviews. They will quickly weed out the bad user reviews, because they'll be 1 line or something, and this wi...
Well, have to say I agree with some and disagree with others. Not enough role playing, repetitive structure, yes, I agree. The second game in particular felt like a checklist of recruitment assignments then -> finish the game. It didn't feel like an rpg at all, even an action rpg. It felt like a 3rd person shooter with dialog. The first one was better in the rpg department, but the repetitiveness ... ugh. Almost every stage, every room had about 10 clones and it all got stale.

... and he also drinks water and goes to the can. Look, if he's not too old, chances are that he plays CoD or Warcraft; I think the odds are decent he'd be into at least ONE of them.
No, that's not how they do it. Look at all the suing going on; what they do is wait for the company to do a lot of business with said device, THEN sue them. Then you can claim damages (?) or whatever and say they made a whole lot of money at your expense (and then cash in). Jesus, this country needs some work.
It's not so much that people are getting sued over patents all over the place. The thing is, why are people allowed to file for patents that cover such a broad and sweeping definition? The patent that those guys own could cover ANYTHING using a camera (move, kinect, any webcam on any computer); it's crazy how they're ALLOWED to apply for that type of patent. Shouldn't they be more specific?
I'm waiting for the person who applied for the patent using "...
Can't wait for this game, but I'm glad it's not coming out this year. Too many games to buy as it is.
As the article says, they're putting some more RPG elements in there. That doesn't mean they can't have both: action and RPG elements.
Anyway, Mass Effect has always been different from other RPG's. The first one was a test, they found out what works for the game and what doesn't, and they came out with the second one. I think the real CORE fans liked the first one better, but more people loved the second, so I think they're going more in that directio...
I know, right? :) Where the f... do I get the money to buy all these games?
For a few reasons, I'd be happy if they killed him off. To me, it's always the most poignant when the main character dies because it gives a sense that the good guys gave everything they had to stop the bad guys (*spoiler*: i.e. Matrix 3; a lot of people probably hated the ending, but I liked it cause Neo had to die to help them win). In the end, it'll make for a better ending.
Also, I wouldn't like Mass Effect to be milked with more and more sequels. I'd ...
