The Atom is a heap of garbage. ARM is the future of netbooks and when the ARM netbooks start hitting the market this year Intel will be sweating. OMAP3xxx system to the upcoming Cortex-A9MP based system (OMAP4xxx) ARM will be sitting pretty. Not to mention the nVidia Tegra based systems. They are just as capable, just as fast if not faster and WAY better on power. Oh did I mention cheaper? In any case Intel is fighting a losing battle and trying to extend the x86 into the netbook market...

I know the answer!! When you turn on your computer it boots into Windows!

AWESOME! I have been following this little wonder for a few months now and it has finally released! Needless to say I will be getting one just for the fact that it is using ARM. The atom is just too much of a kludge. When the new ARM based netbooks are released with the Cortex-A9 and Cortex-A9 MPcore come out these things are REALLY gonna rock. Then there is the ARM based nVidia Tegra which is another BEAST.

Haven't run Windows since the early/mid nineties. Unix/Linux/OS X have been my operating systems of choice and I have never run into any issues. The other bonus is that I have never had any spyware/adware/malware or viruses either. It's a win/win situation.

hit from Don Reisinger! This guy is such a freakin MS tool it's not even funny. You would think that if he removed his lips from Steve Ballmer's ass he would die of separation anxiety. Oooh and Thank You to ThatCanadianGuy420 for pointing out this was a Don article. Saved me from clicking it although helped me to immediately dismiss it.

See I said >>IF<< In any case if true it proves one thing and that is the XBox 360 although selling well due to its' $199 price is a dying console. The PS3 at $400 continues to put up comparable weekly numbers and even outsold the XBox 360 worldwide this past week even if only by a small margin. Seeing this when the PS3 gets its' price cut all bets are off as to how the rest of the year will play out OR for that matter if Microsoft will respond with yet another price cut of its' o...

You'll be waiting a LONG LONG time before that ever happens. Microsoft has ALWAYS operated on the "Three E" mantra.

Embrace, Extend, Extinguish

Nothing that Microsoft has as a product, hardware OR software, is original in any way shape or form.

MS is passing the buck off to the drive makers and PC makers? LOL! Talk about biting your nose off to spite your face. This is another reason why I can't stand Microsoft.

Well for all the devs crying that the Cell is hard to code for the Larrabee is built with very similar charateristics to the Cell. Common sense would be the Cell as the CPU and the Larrabee as the GPU. This would be an impressive box indeed!

Nothing like a site dedicated to MS and the XBox 360 telling you to NOT to buy one. This is pure gold.

There are already used copies sitting on two of the three Gamestops by me. The reason is as I feared and that is little Johnny and little Janey begged mom or dad to get them the new Halo. Then when they opened it up only to find a RTS not a FPS they threw a fit and back it went. This is not surprising either as after seeing the Halo Wars TV spot it is VERY misleading to the younger FPS loving crowd. In any case I hope it does do well because for once a console RTS got the controls pretty ...

I generally read all articles I comment on but when I see the name "Don Reisinger" I immediately dismiss the article.

Haven't we learned that anything coming from Don Reisinger is absolutely useless? This tool has proven over and over that he is about as useful as a nun with tits.

OK Killzone 2 is a success so now let's try to play down GoW 3 somehow. Someone might wanna clue the author of the article in on a few other titles. Manhunt, Condemned, MadWorld, Splatterhouse, Ninja Gaiden, GTA 3/4 and Gears 1/2.

@ #2 Kain81 - QFT is all I can say.

The fact that MS has dropped all but two or three first party studios in favor of throwing cash at third party devs for timed exclusives and some exclusive DLC? Where is that an advantage? But it does make sense though. Seeing that as a software company Microsoft is probably the most ass backwards, incompetent bunch of hammerheads out there it's better they rely on someone else to make the software for thier box. Bad enough the thing dies with th RRoD could you imagine the BSOD as well wh...

A REAL game trying to be played on a PHONE. Yeah OK the iPhone and iPod Touch are truly the future of portable gaming. Now does everyone see how stupid that sounds when Apple, et al, speak about such things?

MS just signed their own death warrant by filing suit against linux. Trust me when I say this won't end well for Microsoft.
