No matter how bad they want to give this game bad reviews they can't. They can only fabricate crap and use it as excuses, no co-op, doesn't innovate, etc... IF (I said IF) they scored KZ2 by the same criteria that they scored, COD 4, COD5, Halo 3, and Gears 2 they would have had to given it a 10+. Sadly, because this is a PS3 exclusive it automagically gets .5 deducted for it and then some more for the above BS excuses. It is just amazing how much people are willing to make themselves loo...
Review sites, some of them, are very biased in their reviews. This particular one is an EXCELLENT example of that. While 8.7 is still a good score to score it lower because it didn't innovate and had no co-op didn't stop them from lavishing praise on Halo 3 or CoD 4. It just amazes me how much hatred, jealousy and bias is shown toward Sony/PS3 on these sites. The gaming media has become nothing more than a circus with very few respectable reviewers left.
A price cut would be nice but I don't see it happening anytime soon. The Yen is too strong for that to happen now. Let's see what happens around June/July.
Even though the picture shows a 40 Gig model that price is awesome. Converts to about $255 USD. All I can say is get'em while they're hot!
Sudden spikes in difficulty is a bad thing? Let's see war is unpredictable and throwing in these spikes during a lul in gameplay not only livens things up but adds to the realism of the game. I don't see how that is a bad thing, that is unless the person playing it is a Nancy boy, in which case he needs his hand held. Regardless the game is great and has been a day one for me since it was announced.

Yes! YES! What an epiphany! Sony should stop spending money on their first party blockbusters like Killzone 2, God of War 3, InFamous and Heavy Rain and get more DLC for Mirrors Edge and BeJeweled! Jackass.
It has nothing to do with being cutthroat as much as it has with Sony providing its' customers with excellent EXCLUSIVE full games which will have DLC as well. As opposed to spending gobs of cash on an expansion which could have paid for two phenominal first party games...

I guess the XBox fanboys can now sit down and eat some crow for dinner. All year long, especially Q4 of 2008, all we heard is DOOMED! DYING!!! OMG DEAD! Now after Sony posted its' results the gaming division is actually profitable by a small amount. Granted Sony as a whole needs some help and are getting it through restructuring but SCE is doing just fine. Oooh if you add all the numbers up it's even more interesting.

Here I was hoping for WOW! and came away with an eh, OK. The graphics and animations of the in game battle stuff reminded me ALOT of "The Bouncer" on the PS2. I was hoping for something more from SE especially now seeing what KZ2, Uncharted, Uncharted:2 have brought to the table. Hell Heavenly Sword is even far more impressive in game with far more characters and effects.

Yup 44 million PSP owners and there is definately a "lacking" business model. I guess Square, Capcom, Konami, Guerrilla Games, etc... who have made STELLAR titles. Hows this for an idea? Make a game that isn't CRAP and it will sell just fine.

Seeing that AoC for PC is consolidating multiple servers and closing others due to massive drop off. Other new MMOs, particularly Lord of the Rings and Warhammer are beating the tar out of it. For the last time. The iPhone/iPod Touch are no threat to handheld gaming. Apple would like you to believe that they are but neither device has any controls worth a damned. Not to mention that they have a fixed amount of storage. Sorry but without REAL hardware controls, like the NDS/PSP have, they are useless for gaming. That and the fact that the ONLY method of getting any game on there is by either downloading it to the iPhone/iPod Touch via 3G/Wi-fi or through a PC. Apple I beg you ...
