To be honest, I had completely forgotten about this game. I never had much hope for it.
I'm really hoping the Wii U will bring this franchise back, and no on-foot missions!
The last game that truly scared the shit out of me was Fatal Frame. I didn’t even play that much of it, but after a little while, I said “Nope!”. It was too much for me and I never picked it back up. I’m just a big chicken.
That would be interesting! I mean, they are ninjas and supposed to be stealthy, but none of the games really focused on that.
Couldn't agree more. They were just plain fun, but for some reason they just started sucking (mostly the early 2000s ones). There are too many good hack n' slash or beat 'em up games out there, for this franchise to NOT be good again.
This generation has seen quite a few good games (and even whole franchises) come to it. I'd be hardpressed to go with just five.
I've got a feeling we'll see something Killer Instinct related before too long. At the very least an HD XBLA upgrade would be just dandy with me too.
I was thinking about that too. I mean, people have been talking about wanting a new Super Mario World game for a while. This seemed like the perfect opportunity, and I think sounds better too.
Well one of the things that's kind of bugged me about Mario games lately is that nothing seems connected. I know the story in those games aren't a major part of them, but the inter-connected world makes it feel like there's more of a story there and, for me, more engaging.
Honestly, this has me more excited now because of this. The single overworld is a great idea, I can't believe it took them this long to bring it back.
I do still wish Code Monkey's would make a return in some form. I miss that show.
Well, it sounds like they are getting a new name with the Rebranding.
I loved Cinematech and getting to see all the videos. Before I had the internet it was the easiest way for me to see upcoming game trailers.
I just wished we would have gotten a little more info on Star Wars 1313.
For me Usher was really a sign of how bad Microsoft's presentation was. I mean, E3 is now only for the Press people to get into. Let's face it, that's not the audience who's going to care for a random song and dance show to pop up. The only thing people in that audience want, are announcements. What it told me, was they didn't have enough to talk about and threw it in for filler.
How about another freaking Ninja Turtles game? Not a remake (though I wouldn't be opposed to a good one), but a new game that's decent.
Nah it won't be Battlefront. The press release Lucasarts sent out said they were announcing a new "Star Wars game FRANCHISE" so something completely new and not part of any of the other games is how it sounds.
Oooh Soul Reaver would be freaking awesome, but I've pretty much given up on Timesplitters.
Oh I'm sure a Monopoly movie is going to happen. They've already talked about it a few times.
Yeah that was the remake of Dune 2. Still a really good game.
