I would love to see Solid Snake in there, but I doubt it'll happen since he was already in the last Super Smash Bros.
@Dante112
The article doesn't say people don't have the right to voice their opinions (hell that's the whole purpose of the article itself). I bitch about stuff all the time. The point being made here is what's changed in the industry that gamers think it's right to demand stuff from the devs?
Ha! I wish that were the case. If I could get any review copies from Bioware, I'd be a happy camper. Truth is I'm not even on their radar right now.
Okay that's valid, but what game companies don't? Seriously, they tell us things that they EXPECT to happen, and sometimes that's just not how it goes down during the production.
Take Peter Molyneux for example. Look at all the lies he's told, but did anyone petition or protest Fable because it wasn't what he said it would be?
I just hate the idea that we are owed something just because we bought it. What we're owed is the game we paid for, not the rights to change what we don't like.
Hmmm...But lying about what? Did they explicitly say what the ending of the game was going to be?
It looks....Okay. I can't say I'm really all that excited about it. I don't normally like any Facebook games, but I suppose under the right circumstances, they could be a lot of fun.
That's what I wonder too. I mean it can't be all powerful, otherwise it wouldn't be balanced enough for all the other MMO players.
Yeah this just seemed completely ridiculous. And @zeal0us that's exactly what I was thinking. If torture movies like Saw and Hostel can be around and show acts that clearly violate the IHL, then why can't games?
I am one of those who love to buy the console as soon as it launches. I always have, mostly because I love saying that I have one. Is it vain? Sure, but I love games and it makes me happy.
That being said, I'm still not sure about the Vita. It has me excited, but my budget for games isn't what it once was, so I have to think carefully about it.
I don't think the point here is that you shouldn't buy it. In fact the dude says at the end of the article that he really thinks this is something everyone should have. This sounds more like any other "don't buy a console at launch" article and not a detractor for the system in general.
I swear they did an update not that long ago for PSN/XBLA. Maybe they were talking about it, but I'm sure there's an updated one somewhere.
I hear PETA is now backpedaling on their earlier statements. They're trying to say now that they were only making a joke.
Awesome. I think I went through much of the same list when Starcraft II came out, and probably will again for The Old Republic.
I don't know why they wouldn't be working on this. I'm sure they're trying to get it figured out just to make people happy and ensure a larger audience. Plus that way they can then make different colored tablet controllers and sell them separately.
I honestly can't say I'm sad to see this go because I never really used it. The movies they offered weren't that great, and considering you can do the same thing (with more selection) at a Redbox...there wasn't any point.
Patches and Updates would actually be an awesome way to solve some of the problems. I agree, there are many things I liked better in Heartgold than in Black (especially the menu system).
Yeah I think a Pokemon MMO would actually work fairly well. I mean, it's already set up with different regions, and the idea is to collect random creatures spread throughout while battling other people. That's a perfect set up for an MMO. I know I'd be down for it.
Yep, there's too much bias in reviews (games AND movies) these days. It's hard to separate yourself from certain things, but when it comes to being a professional about it, you have to.
Yeah, as big as they were for being the 'faces' of Sony back in the day, it'd seem almost criminal to not have them in there.
