Totally agree, it did things other games before it tried, but failed to achieve. Part of it is the hardware, but the big part of it is how well the developers managed to use that hardware.
What's sad is that I don't care. Seriously, this is one of the franchises where if it has Metal Gear on the cover, I'm buying it. I know that's horrible and encourages more of this crap with other devs, but that's how I am for MGS.
I'm pretty horrible at sports games. Unless it was something for the NES, you can pretty much count me out of doing anything special with it!
Yes, the Hammer Bros have long been the bane of my existence! And just about any enemy that couldn't be killed, only avoided.
Confession time....I've never been a big Mario Kart fan. The game is fun and I'll play with friends every now and then when a new game comes out, but on the whole it's not a big deal for me.
More than likely they're doing something with these two, but some nice confirmation would be pretty awesome.

Better designed is a great way to put it. These designers had tons of limitations, but still crafted some amazing games which are able to withstand the test of time. It's quite impressive.
I'm a big retro gamer, and there have been times in my life where my old consoles (SNES and what not) have received more attention than my current gen ones. I think of old games like 'comfort foods' where it's something I feel I can always go back to and KNOW that I'll be having a good time. It's safe and when I'm bored and need something entertaining, I won't be disappointed.

Honestly, I love the idea. The only reason I'd been wanting a Vita lately is because of a couple games and it's PS4 interactions. But if I can do the same thing for only $100, I'm completely sold!
I don't really need another handheld, I love my 3DS, so using this for a few Vita games here and there, plus being able to play my PS4 wirelessly on a second TV (in case my kid or girlfriend wants to use the other) is a perfect thing for me.
Yes, a hundred times, yes! This remains one of my favorites for the PS2. I was so excited to see a sequel was coming, but Kasai was so inferior. The story really sucked me in, so it'd be nice to see Sony give it another chance, like you mentioned.
I really had no interest in this game...but now I'm starting to feel pulled to it. I haven't been into TCG's in a very long time, but lately I've started to have that urge (first with the new Star Wars card game, and now this).
I've never been the biggest FPS fan, but I have enjoyed what I've played of the Battlefield games. I just really want Star Wars Battlefront to be awesome. Seriously, that's all I really want.
