Nice, I love when they adapt rael world situations into videogames.
Wow, first they get blu-rays and now games. WIth them driving Movie Gallery out of business I wonder if they'll be able to do the same for the game rental stuff. Maybe Blockbuster's days are numbered?
Wow, with ads like that I can't imagine why Sega lost the console wars.
What's great is in sprite form, you can almost forget how annoying they all are!
I was most intrigued by the Tetris salt and pepper shakers. Those were awesome. Too bad those aren't actually sold anywhere...A man can dream.
I do have the Star Wars cookie cutters though!
It's nice to see so much talent going into these things. Very impressive works!
Oh man this takes me back. And since you don't have to have a cartridge in to play games, you won't look odd playing it. It's actually a decent looking portable.
It's always possible but they could just be experiments that won't ever see the light of day. With the Kinect supposed to extend the platform's life I don't think we'll see another console for a while.
That's the problem with reboots, they always think they have to change what isn't broken. The same could be said about movie as well.
I still don't care for MMOs I've just never gotten into them. I was thinking about it with the free one, but it's a no go for me with those micro-transactions.
You know, maybe if they would have been more open to ideas like this before, I wouldn't have left. It's nice to see an organization like that learning to adapt to new environments.
Not soon enough...
Totally agreed on all points. Especially #3. I always reach a point in the game where I basically have to force myself to keep going. The story basically ends before the last gym so there's very little reason (beside being a completionist) to continue on. I just don't care enough to beat the Elite Four. I want a story that compells me to keep going.
I know their traget audience is still a younger generation, but I think it could still grow up a little to appeal to the old...
I would say it's a pretty good list, though I think fail might be too strong of a word to describe them. Most seemed to suffer from poor release timing or the way the market shifted, rather than being a bad system. Good research though.
I'm really excited about the new NBA Jam. It's one of my favorite sports titles ever, which say a lot. I don't generally play sports games (if I"m going to play sports I'd like to actually do it), but NBA Jam was so much fun it kept me playing for a ridiculous amount of time.
I love street art, but it's always seemed like such a waste of talent. Some of the kids and people who create these pieces could rival the abilities of many professional graphic designers.
To be honest, I'm finding it hard to care about this game anymore. Seems to be a trend with me. I get all hyped for a game but if it gets pushed back often, I just lose interest. Their system sounds interesting, but again I'm struggling to get excited about it.
So glad someone finally decided to do this. It's not nearly as sleek as some of the Dreamcast ones I've seen but at least now there's something for the Saturn. Maybe next they can make is smaller.
Retro gaming is truly the best. I've found recently that while I still love the new games, they just don't seem to offer the same challenge or even feeling of accomplishment like these older games do. I think the Mega Man sequels in 8 bit was a very smart decision and I hope other Developers will follow this example. Not so much in taking it down in graphics, just remembering that gameplay is the most important part of gaming.
Gosh I can't wait for this game! I love Starcraft and am about to explode with anticipation. Good video!
